 | RE: Wingate photos Hi Aimee,
Your quite welcome for the photos. I'm glad that I could help you out. I visited the OK cemetery website listed on your profile. What a tremendous resource this is. Many thanks to all who volunteered their time in obtaining photos, transcribing headstone information and putting all the information online. This work will be an invaluable resource for many generations to come.
Most of my dad's side of the family has connections to OK. My dad and his oldest sister were born in Seminole, and his younger sister was born in Wewoka. His has a cousin who was born in Okemah. My great grandma and grandpa Collier are buried in Sand Creek Cemtery in Seminole. My great-grandpa Easley is buried in Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. My grandfather attended high school in Butner and my grandmother lived not far from there in Cromwell.
My grandmother on my mom's side was born in McCurtain County and lived for a time in the Oklahoma Baptist Orphans home. Her biological parents are buried somewhere in OK, but I haven't been able to nail down exactly where yet. | | | Maranita Pettit
 | RE: Roscoe Leo Edwards Sorry, I sent the message to the wrong person. I was trying to thank Al and Caroline Martin who take photos and are doing major work on cemeteries in Illinois I think. Roscoe is in Lakeside Cemetery, Pekin, Tazwell, Illnois. Sorry for the confusion. Anita | | | Maranita Pettit
 | Roscoe Leo Edwards I wanted to thank you again for the great photos. I put the one I like best on find a grave but unless you click on the photo it doesn't show who took it. It lists me on the memorial for adding it which of course I did add it but I wanted it to show who took it. I don't know how many other family members ever look at the site but hopefully some do and they will know that you took the photo. It was nice to have a variety to choose from. I haven't checked out the other site you contribute to but I plan to. Thank you again. Anita | | | TheOldChief
 | Jacqueline Bradford Glad to make the transfer. When a requester's relationship is outside the Find A Grave guidelines for transfer I tend to look at the requester's stats. I tend to shy away from transferring when the requester shows many more "managed" pages than ones they have actually done the work to post themselves. It is very obvious you are not one of those that wants to build numbers off of other peoples work. | | | Liz Brown
 | Wyatt I can't thank you enough from transfering Nellie and Willie Wyatt to me. Have a wonderful weekend :-) | | | | [View all messages...] |
