|I have been fasinated in Geneology as a child. When I was 13 I came across letters written by my maternal great grandmother. She was enquiring about her family and where they came from. It was fascinating to read the letters and learn about the ancestors you have never met. It was then that I seem to have gotten bit by the geneology bug. |
I love finding information on family and finding pictures of ancestors. It is wonderful that Findagrave has a site where we can honor our dead. Our ancetors should never be forgotten and this is why when I leave flowers on my memorial page or other memorial pages, I leave Forget Me Not Flowers. Our ancestors made us who we are today and we must appreciate that. I love leaving flowers on other memorial pages and I hope others will do the same. Everyone has a story to tell. It is only right for the living to remember the dead, even if they are not related to us. They are related to someone. It's only right to honor them.
UPDATE 11/10/13: I have noticed that pictures and information I have posted about my ancestors have been republished on sites like ancestry.com and geneologly.com. While I don't care that they are used I would like at least for those people to site where they received the information and pictures. Its like plagiarism to me. You are stealing someone's information that may have taken them years to find out and trying to get away with saying it's yours.
Received a phone call from someone saying that a picture that was found on find a grave was not the wife of my uncle. I have changed the information but next time instead of YELLING OVER THE FREAKIN phone can you calmly tell me. Or better yet there is a message board on find a grave that goes directly to the person that posted the pictures. All you had to do was send me a message and I would have gladly changed it. Thank you.

Amy, this is the information I have on Roberta Tuller and her research which may be found online:
An American Family History, John Lothrop & Hannah Howse by Roberta Tuller, firstname.lastname@example.org
It is lengthy. Look for the George Bonham and Family History. There is an email for Mrs. Tuller and you may reach her there. I did.
|Suzanne Bonham Richards||RE: Ernest Gray Bonham|
Ernest Gray Bonham was my grandfather and Horace Edgar or Edgar Horace Bonham was my great-grandfather. I never knew either of them and Una Cross Bonham was my grandmother. They had all passed on before I was born in 1950. I have lots and lots of information and photos of Martin Luther Bonham's grave in Louisville's Middle Settlements Methodist Church Cemetery not too far outside of Maryville, TN. Look up Roberta Tuller and her work on the history of the Bonham family beginning in Masssachusettes and New Jersey. She has done some amaziing research! I thought it was very interesting that you are a Fuller. This should really surprise you, Amy, Samuel Fuller's parents died during the first year after the MAYFLOWER landed. He lived with her uncle Dr. Samuel Fuller, whose home is still standing as I understand it. Most interesting reading. I need to do lots more!
Have a good evening. Suzi

I am the oldest daughter of Conrad Gray Bonham, son of Ernest Gray Bonham. I found your name on the "Find a Grave" site. I live in Springville, St. Clair Co., AL presently and am interested in finding out how we are related. I am aware of the Fuller relationship way back about 1620 and the marriage of Samuel Fuller to Jane Lathrop and their daughter Hannah to Hezikiah Nicholas Bonham. Looking forward to getting in touch with you.
|Denise||Mae (Hall) Crayne Holland|
Mae was the mother-in-law of my 2nd cousin once removed, Donald Richard Hayes. According to the obituary I found on the Browning Genealogy & Obituary Search website, Mae was first married to Edgar Crayne on 01 Dec 1929 and after his decease, she married Rev. Charles E. Holland on 03 Oct 1993. Mr. Holland preceded her in death on 19 Feb 1998.
Mae's Find-a-Grave memorial number is 64544181.
I hope this helps.

I HAVE the direct line to the Ramseys in Virginia. I've been doing searches for along time now. My great grandfather was James Lowell Ramsey. His father George Thomas Ramsey. Of Franklin County Virginia. Then it just goes up from there. But Im interested in Woodsons Ramseys Jrs slaves.. I know one was named Dick and a lady named Fuller. I think there history is also important to our country as well. They did do hard labor. Thank You JENNIFER s

I think you may have your William, son of Euclid and Nancy, confused with a William O. Bonham who has the same date of death in Jefferson Co. Alabama. His parents were Perry and Missouri Bonham.

I believe I am in some way related to Isom Edwards. My gg grandfather, John Berry Edwards is listed on the 1850 census with him. John's daughter, Minerva Elizabeth "Lizzie" Edwards is my great grandmother.
I cannot tell if John is a child from perhaps a prior wife of Isom, as Isom would have been 18 when John was born in 1835 or perhaps a nephew. Mary is too young to be his mother.
If you have any information that could shed light on the parentage of John Berry Edwards in your family line, I would be most appreciative.
|Vicki Chester||Ramsey Family|
Hi Amy ~ I really don't know what I am doing here but inquiring for more info on the Ramsey family because of my great great grandmother Lula Hollis Florida Ramsey Downen from Gallatin County Illinois. I am greatly interested in any information about her and in particular to her union with Albert Birke Ramsey which is what is entered in this find a grave website but there is a question mark. I know that she had another child who passed away young, and I know it was with a husband with last name of Ramsey but I have not until now been able to find any information. I read that there is a family history written about the Ramsey's so would like to know if this is the correct Ramsey that she was married to and any other info I can get. Hope you do receive this and appreciate any info you can supply! Thank you, Vicki Chester
