THIS IS A CEMETERY

Communications accord respect;
families bestow reverence,
historians seek information and
our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotion, pride and remembrance are carved in stone or cast in bronze to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life not death of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for family

Memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living

A cemetery is a history of people a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.

A cemetery exists because every life is worth
loving and remembering always.

I am have been doing research for my children/grandchildren trying to find the past generations. I have been very successful in filling in the sides of my family which previously had little documentation. I would love to help anyone I can assist with the information I have been able to ascertain. This is the reason I have made virtual cemeteries and am adding biographies to the memorials.

I would also appreciate any information others might have and are willing to share, especially if I have some incorrect information.

Berryman Jones
Do you know who might have put the plaques on Berryman Jones grave in San Pierre, Indiana. My mother and I visited there today. I'd like to thank whoever did so.

Jones Family
Thank you for all your pictures. I am descended from Thomas Jones. I was unaware his grave was only a county away. I hope to take my mom out there to find it in San Pierre this spring.

Allen family
Sally:
You maintain a memorial for Thomas Allen (38658157) in Asher Cemetery, Owen Co., Ind.
I found a family tree that showed his father as Isaac Allen (1764- )and wife Elizabeth (Rush) (1771-1848). It showed Elizabeth as buried in Old Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Unfortunately it did not have a location for the cemetery. Find a grave does not show an Old Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Owen Co. There is a Shiloh cemetery but I do not know if that is the same. I was just wondering if you are familiar with that co. Can you help me.
Regards
Gary

Hi Sally,

You have several entries for the Wilder Cemetery for the Karn family that are duplicates of previous entries by someone else. Can you please try to get these memorials combined together to eliminate the duplication of records on these family members? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Lambert Darland, Todd Cemetery
Thank you so much for posting the information for the Todd Cemetery and Lambert Darland. I had only a few photos and none for Lambert, however, I did for his son Abraham also buried here. The only other stone is for John Smock, with whom they traveled from Mercer or Anderson County, Kentucky. So I added that photo as well as a map showing the location in the Township and how to actually find the Todd Cemetery which is rather difficult.

I would have added Abraham to the list of children, but couldn't figure out how to do that.

With appreciation,

Judy Cassidy
