Fagan - Holy Name Jersey City
Hi,
There is also a Mary T buried with John, as you can see and buried right next to John & Mary is a Catherine and Joseph Fagan.
If you haven't put up memorial pages for them or if you have and would like the pictures posted please request a photo and I will gladly put them on.

Posted the photo of George and Mattie headstone
sorry, I walked the area over and over the first time and could not find it. Also uploaded the photo on Mattie's memorial page.

Carol & David
RE: henry Speer
You are very welcome. His stone was hard to read and under a tree in this cemetery. The sun does not come to that side except in summer. I tried to lighten one of the photos for a better view.

Geprge Blake
I picked up another request and there was a George O. Blake and Mattie Blake on the same headstone Could this be your George, he was also born 1848 and died in 1918, I think it is. I'll remove the other photo and post this one.

RE: Andrew McCall
I believe it was pretty difficult to read, so I don't think one can get much more from it than the picture shows. However, a survey done in the 1980s (http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-osg.htm) has the following recorded for it:

"Andrew McCall; US Army; d Oct 27, 1892 aged 50y"

Given his age, I imagine he might have been a Civil War veteran. (It should be noted though that the Mt Hope Interment Records list his age as 60, not 50.)

Thank you for the quick response taking a headstone photo of my family member and the foresight of adding a photo of his wife's grave. It is exciting to add another piece to the family puzzle. Sandi
