Burial Confusion:In regards to the find a grave on Leroy,it is confusing. Leroy did indeed have two graves in the veterans garden section at Greenwood Cemetery however they were never used according to Greenwood Cemetery. As per the obituary he was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Millville, NJ with his first wife Jane and Mount Pleasant Cemetery confirms they are there, and Mildred Key Holmes in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland NJ in the holmes family plot. The find a grave is confusing. Therefore I investigated. I tend to be in all these cemeteries a lot. Just thought I would give you a heads up. Check it out. By the way Leroy was my cousin through my grandmother Sarah Violet Cramer Love. Also, your great work with find a grave is invaluable. Thanks for all your time, effort and work that it involves. S. Thank you for all your work. As I was reviewing the information posted for Maude E. McWherter, I see that there are two dates of death - the 9th and 27th. Please let me know which is the correct date and adjust the record accordingly.

No, I'm not related either. Just looking through the 30-something burials posted at Mission SJC Cemetery and trying to get them in the correct cemetery. A person would have to be extremely important to be buried on the Mission grounds themselves. The obit suggests a funeral procession down Ortega Hwy which is par for the course with burials of long-time locals in Old Mission Cemetery. I got the info on Kenny from ancestry.com.
Working on Yorba Cemetery at present.
|Lesa Pfrommer||RE: re:Kenny McMinn|
Thanks for making the changes. Can you please make one more and place him in the correct cemetery? "Old Mission Cemetery" is about one mile down Ortega Hwy from Mission San Juan Capistrano and not same as the one on the actual mission grounds.

No not a family member I am just taking pics of all stones in Holy Cross for Find A Grave and a spreadsheet of the cemetery, like I did for Egg Harbor City, which you can find here, www.lastingdigitalmemories.com/EHC_Cemetery
|Mark Maxwell||Zion Cemeteries|
There are a lot of mistaken entries because until recently, nobody knew they were two separate entities. A friend made the discovery during a "relative search" and created "Zion Cemetery" and told me about it. I contacted the pastor of the church and the cemetery association, both saying they were separate. I then started walking through and populating Zion and contacting people about entries as I find them "across the road." Always nice to be in the right section, especially in these hot days.
SAC is "Suggestion and Correction".
Go to any memorial that isn't yours.
Look at the upper right of the memorial and you will see a tab with "Edit". Click on "Edit".
The top option is "Suggest a correction or provide additional information". Click on that.
There you have the option of emailing me privately instead of posting like we are publicly doing now.
Or, you can type a message directly in to the Find A Grave message blank at the lower part of that page. This is what I was referring to do when requesting linking. When I receive this message it will have a link directly to memorial.
So, to do linking father to son, you would go to the son's memorial and do a SAC and give me the father's memorial number. I click on the link to get to the son's memorial and then copy and paste the father's number...it takes only seconds. I don't have to "hunt" for anything as it is there in front of me. That is how I sent you the duplicate memorial message. Remember? Some members won't do any corrections unless you do by the SAC method.
You also have the option to send yourself a copy of the direct message. This is good because if you hadn't deleted one of the duplicates in 30 days, I would forward that copy of the direct message email to firstname.lastname@example.org and asked them to do it for you.
Understand? I wrote this without my morning coffee!!!
|Linda Davis||RE: Dorsey & Dwight Hostler|
You do realize it is so much more easier for the person who is doing the linking if you use the SAC as the memorial is there when I open you message instead of my looking for him.
Next time you request linking use the SAC.

I'll be glad to send the photos, but I don't have your email address. Or do you want me to just add them to findagrave. The photo I took of Mildred McWherter is F. Mildred.
