ORR was my father-in-law. His son is still living, and others who were hurt by his murder and the circumstances surrounding it. I would greatly appreciate if you would remove the newspaper photograph from his memorial. I don't have photographs of him, but my son and other family members do. I will ask them to post something more cheerfully to be remembered. Thank you.

The men of the 86th in Livingston County
Hey Dewey, You say you're a Livingston County boy!! Twelve men from the 86th spent their last days in Livingston County and I have four pictures of them. Check out their Virtual Cemetery as well. There's 12 more for you to work on! Keep in mind, if you find that their last homes are still standing, I'd love to see pictures of their last homes added to their sites as well. Thanks and Thanks for all you are doing for Find A Grave. It is appreciated and will be so long after we are gone. Take care, Baxter

RE: Milton H. Cloud photo & 86th Illinois of Ford County
Dewey, Great picture of you in the casket, but, hope you are not really dying to find out where this drawing came from. Check out the 1884 Ford County Atlas, you will see pictures of many of Ford Counties pioneers. I'd like to challenge you to do something for me and these veterans of the Civil War. If you go to my Find A Grave Contributor site and to my Virtual Cemeteries, you will see I have sites set up for three members of the 86th who spent their final days in Ford County and whose mortal remains were lain in Ford County. I have a Civil War era picture of one, the drawing of Judge Cloud and nothing for the last man, Bullington. I know there are lots of pictures of the Judge out there, probably a number in the local Historical Society, if Ford County has one. Bullington may be a REAL challenge, but perhaps he has descendants there in Ford County still. Find more pictures of these three men for their Find A Grave Memorials and then see what you can do for the men who served FROM Ford County. These men made GREAT sacrifices for us. Let's do all we can to tell the locals their story and never let them forget. Have you read the poem WHEN THE BOYS IN BLUE ARE GONE? Check it out on the internet or even on my site. I have been telling their story for 31 years now. If you haven't been, perhaps it's your time. Please let me know if you find any of my three 86th boys. I have 992 men to work on and sometimes people will add a picture to one of my sites and I wouldn't see it for years. Thanks for your interest and don't forget out Boys in Blue. Baxter

Does Nope mean that you don't remember me or that you can't help with my question, or both.

John Hartman
Hi, do you remember me from the Steinberg Reunion?

Do you know who John's parents were? I found death info for him on that lists his parents as John and Katherine Steinberg Hartman and also his wife as Katherine Steinberg. I think these parents are incorrect.
Can you help clear this up?

RE: Olen Chapman
We visited Union Cemetery #2 last weekend
To get a pic of James Lawson Chapmans grave and
It was gone ? We saw his sons graves and
Took pics.

Are you Olen's son or grandson? Are you on Facebook?
We have A Crawley/ side bottom / Chapman
Ancestry group if you want to join? Plus
I have a family tree on ancestry .

Do you know anyone who has a pic of James Riley Chapman?

Thanks !

Olen Chapman
Thank you for posting all the information on the Chapman ancesty. We went to visit Nobob last week, but unfortunately discovered that James Lawson Chapman's grave marker was gone. Thank you for posting his photo. Was wondering if you have a photo of James Riley Chapman?

We were very fortunate to meet your father, Olen Chapman. Earl & Lottie Virginia Crawley my grandfather took us to meet him before he died. He was truly a wonderful person. We have a few photos that we took of him with Earl & Virginia that we can send you. My email is My wife, Dana is a contributor to Findagrave and has our family tree on Ancestry.

Thanks again for the Chapman family history.

Zev Crawley
3rd Greatgrandson of James Lawson Chapman
