|A.C. Rogers||Mary Clarinda Jacobs Bales|
Please correct the names of Mary Bales #17907736 parents who are Baylor Jacobs #25058402 and Mary Kendrick Jacobs #25058417.
|Herbert Heilig||Caleb Augustus Heilig|
Your entry on Caleb Heilig's ancestry is seriously in error. George Michael , Jr died in 1847 as did his brother George Heilig who is the father of Caleb Heilig. Some of his descendants with no proof have tried to claim that George Heilig, the older brother of George Michael Jr was in fact George Michael. Various deeds found in the Rowan Cty. Deed books prove that the younger brother was the George Michael Jr who was frequently called Michael. Caleb's father's marker in Organ cemetery only has the name George Heilig on it. There are NO records of his baptism that would countered this spurious claim by some of his descendants except some fictious entry in a Bible that has disappeared! Reid Heilig
|janet donner||john miller 1854|
You had asked for a picture of john miller in greenwood cemetery who died in 1854
I have checked both the sexton and the cemetery
books and no john for that date of 1854.
What records do you have that he is buried there?
the actual burials with records didnt start until 1857. he could have come from 3 or 4 diff cemeteries and there is a dispute about that.
since the cemetery was walked in the early 60s or 70s there was no stone inputt for the records
of a john miller you are talking about
if you have proof that he is buried there you need
to put it in on the bio section but there is no
stone according to records.
|Kristy Rice||Crowleys again|
Sorry, I just wanted you to know about a Zilpa C Philip 1917-1992 buried next to Pearl and Leston Crowley. She's in the burial plots of the Crowley family. Possibly a child?
|Kristy Rice||Crowleys in Crowley Cemetery|
Hi Rebecca. I was the one that sent you the edit on Leston Crowley. I noticed that this is a family line of yours. Just thought I would see if you would know were an Elsie Corinne Crowley 1900-1926, would fit in on your family tree? I found her in this cemetery they all are in a row. Just thought I would let you know about her. I have added a few Crowley's to this cemetery, so please look through them and I will gladly let you have them. Anyways, I was just hoping for a little more on this young woman.
Thank you for your time.
No, I'm not. I'm related distantly through the Thiebauds. Sorry, Michele

|Eugene Cornelius||Thomas Austin Patrick Sr|
I received a photo thought to be either Thomas Austin Patrick Sr or Jr. I have posted it to find a grave as Thomas Sr. Thought you might be interested in it.
I feel the gentleman is definitely not Thomas Jr.
Does he look lime a very young Thomas Sr. to you?
Photo was received indirectly from a descendent of Benjamin Franklin Patrick.

|Duane Downey||RE: Downey Graves|
Thank you for writing about the Downey graves I sponsored. Yes, my grandfather's (John Raymond Downey) grandfather's (Amos Seaborn Downey) grandparents were James Downey Senior and Mary Seaborn who came to North America from County Down, Ireland. I was only able recently to trace the line from some old, onion skin papers my father left behind in a box. He never spoke about his family much, so I have been trying to uncover more information. Find A Grave has been a Godsend.
