Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always been interested in personal histories. I love reading about how normal, everyday average people can have such a great affect on those around them.

After starting up my family tree research, I realized how useful cemeteries could be. Thanks to Find A Grave and its contributors, I've found more relatives that I ever thought possible!

I'm in my thirties and live in the Philadelphia suburbs with my fantastic boyfriend and our two very dumb (but sweet!) cats.

My profile picture is of me as a baby, being fed by my Great-Great-Grandmother.

Any photos that I take/post are free to be used as you will and DO NOT need prior permission before usage on family trees, Ancestry, etc.

RE: Peter & Alice Dunn
You're welcome! I'm glad that what I found was able to help others with their tree! Peter and Alice Dunn are also my 3rd Great Grandparents (I'm the direct descendant of their daughter Catherine Dunn Harding).

RE: Mary Ann (Schaeffer) Bowman
Wow, I did not have her obit. I can't thank you enough! This also gave me the name of one of her daughters as Mrs. George Fair. With that I'll be able to figure out if that is the husband of daughter Isabella or Hannah.
It looks like I'll have to become a subscriber to by itself or as part of
Are you related?
Thanks again,

RE: Thank you! (C.W. Reed)
No, problem. Glad to help. Do you want a transfer? I am not related to anyone in that cemetery so I'll transfer all your relatives that are in the area. Mindy

RE: Pictures?
Hello Ayanah:

Yes there are one hundred sixty (160) engraved portraits in The History of Washington County, New York, by Crisfield Johnson, published in 1878. The engraver used photographs to make the portraits.

Nice to make your acquaintance.

Warm regards,

Clinton McClellan Smith

P.S. There is sometimes additional information found in the captions on each picture which can be found by clicking on the portrait.

Mary Anne
Alfred Bain (1859-1860) S. Argyle Cem

I could not find a stone for this baby in searching the entire cemetery. As you know, there are many, many Bains there. Do you know who Alfred's parents were? If you could add this information to your request, it might help me (or another volunteer) locate a stone. I did find one Bain plot with a very badly damaged stone which is next to a stone for Mary Hannah wife of John B. Bain. Could they be his parents?
