abner davis
Hi, I'm doing my family genealogy & have a relative,Lututia Lucy Oakes, who married an
Abner Davis on 04/05/1821 in Athens, Vermont.
Abner was born 09/21/1795 in Athens, VT and died
12/10/1874 in Henderson Co, Illinois. I show Abner was buried in Emerson, Iowa (Mills Co).
Their kids were; Andrew Jackson, Sarah Y.,
Frances C. and Harriett C. Davis. I was wondering if you're are related to this line of the Davis
family & if so if you have any further info on Abner & Lututia?

Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the photo of Frank Johnson. My wife will be thrilled to see it as he is a distant relative of hers. Thanks again for taking the time to do it.

John W. Davis
Hi Brenda, My husband's grandfather, James Franklin Johnston was a brother to Myrtle Mae Johnston, wife of John William (Wesley) Davis. Was happy to see the tombstone. I have some info on the family but don't know how much is accurate. Do you have the line on John's family and grandchildren? I would like to correspond with you. Do you live around Lineville? That's where most of my husband's dad's family came from. Look forward to hearing from you. Bonnie Johnston Denver, Iowa

This is one of the old areas and very few markers, if there ever was a marker it is no longer there. If you click on the photo I took you will note that I put a caption that there was no marker however this is the area she is buried.
