All of Glenwood's online records can be found here:

Contact for the cemetery is:

Fax 202-667-1020

Glad I could be of assistance and best wishes!

Let me know if you need anything else.

Photo request for Thomas Johnson # 140426073 Glenwood Cemetery DC

I am following up on Glenwood Cemetery photo requests that I have submitted problems for.

I sent this through the system on March 15, 2015
General problem: I searched the stated plot or section and could not find the grave

Details: I was at Glenwood today looking for this person. From the Plat records. The plot includes surnames of Johnson, Berry and Rynex. The only standing stone was for Rynex, which I photographed. If you would like me to go back and get a photo of the plot, please let me know.

The link to the interment record is:

I'm sorry I couldn't find a headstone. Would you like a photo of the lot? Please let me know if you do. If not, would you kindly consider removing the request?

Thanks so much!

RE: Fritz Sigfred Magnuson
You are most welcome for the photos of Fritz and Bertha. I am pleased that I could help.

I have replaced the original photos with ones that have better lighting. If my knees and memory continue to function properly, I plan to replace these photos when the grass gets green.

I have also added photos for Leona, Signa (Sigrid), and Barbara.

Re: Louise Dennisero Biggar
Just so you know, Louise Dennisero Biggar's (memorial # 50686728)maiden name was actually "Dennison", not "Dennisero".

Her father (my maternal great-grandfather) was Major Ami Ruhamah Dennison (memorial #46693822), a veteran of the Civil War. I have added a photo of him to his memorial on F-A-G, along with a little snippet from my family history book that shows his service.

Louise is buried in the same cemetery as her father, although I do not know how close or far her grave is from his.

Barbara Goggin Brann
I don't know where she is buried. I assumed Helen Gressley was his wife since she was buried right next to him.

You are very welcome! I was thrilled to find such an informative biography. Thank you for posting it - and crediting it to me as well!
Best regards,
