Since I was a young girl I had a desire to know about my ancestors. I feel blessed to have known two great grandmothers, my grandparents and many other family relatives ~ many stories of which have been shared. However, it wasn't until ten years ago that my "desire" became a "passion". My daughter had a school project in which she needed to write about an ancestor who immigrated to America. She chose her great, great grandmother, Louise Mondl, and her journey from the Czech Republic to New York. At this point it became evident to me that I needed to research and preserve my family roots for not only my children, and today's generation, but those to come.
Through research I have learned so much about my ancestors ~ it is not just names and dates written on paper or chiseled in stone, but who they were, where and how they lived and the love and hardships they endured. I have, through Find-A-Grave, made new family connections and decided to add some of my family.
Researching: Spellman/Mullen/Ford (Ireland/USA); Dorling (Germany/USA) Mondl (Bavaria/CZ/USA); Haley/Hudson (PA/NJ); Horn/Horne (PA); Farrier/Ferrier (Ireland/USA); McCartney (DE/PA); Musgrove/Hibberd/Horn (PA); Bonsall (England/USA); Meyer/Joerg/ Bellmund/ Baxmann (Germany/USA); Bucher (Switz/USA; Baltes Germany/PA); McLaughlin (Ireland, NJ); Reilly/Riley (Ireland, PA)
To end... I simply would like to say "to those who came before… you are remembered and loved".

 | Deborah Bankson Palmer Hi,
I was wondering if I can use (on my ancestry.com tree) the picture you added to Deborah Bankson Palmer's memorial # 39416795. If I can use it should I attribute the photo to you?
Thanks

 | RE: Ettore Biggio Hallo Kathy, sorry again for my delay in answer but I'm very busy in this period!!! Thank you very mutch for your interest and the precious information you gave me. I know he was a musician and I guessed the name of his wife reading it on the cemetery list but I've no informations about his soons and grandchildren. Searching on google by Italy I can't find any information except the Maryrest cemetery list on "Find a Grave". My granmother told me that his nickname was "Mose". I'll be very grateful if you help me to find some relatives or grandchildrens of Ettore and also if you can send me some links to pages that discuss of him... I'm very curious!!!! Only if this is not a problem for you! Thank you very mutch... and told me if I can repay you in some way. Bye Riccardo | | | | [View all messages...] |
