I have been enjoying this hobby for 37 years. I did not know any of my family until I started doing this. My names are Burns, Lanie, Luse, Hunt, Madows, VanMeter, Wilson, Wininger. Love hearing from anyone and will share all I have. Peggy Hunt Altman
Parents Link I believe the parents of your page 15001634 for Mathias Luse, Sr are buried at 22936842 Susannah Luse, and 22936825 Mattias Luse (Possibly misspelled). I am distantly related through 111846305 Nancy Jane Luse Monbeck. Apparently the family name was originally Luce, which got mixed with spelling Luse during the American Revolution.
Sulphur Springs Have been trying to find Sarah Harrison and not having much luck. Cemetery records do not show here there, although they enumerate by plot owner, not marker. I have walked this cemetery several times and do not find a marker for her. Could you tell me the source data that puts her here? Was Harrison her surname at time of death, since it appears that Guy Harrison was her first, not second husband? Do you know if Guy's father was Emory? I'm going to keep trying on this for you. Thanks, Gordon
RE: Charles LeRoy Sells Happy to help - Yes, it was a beautiful fall morning - but pouring rain by 2:00 pm. There are and were many Sells here in Washington County. One is currently running for Alderman in Jonesborough - quite a nice guy, too. Gordon
Alice Cox Sorry, I guess I don't get it either. I transferred Alice yesterday to- v f -and evidently she fixed it. When it first came up it had the baby as her spouse. Really, not seeing things. Anyway, it is not there now and she has links & obit where there weren't before the transfer. Sorry to bother you and waste your time. I have been trying to transfer Elliott's memorials to a group in that area. Have a great week, geraldine
Alice I don't know either, I just know I can't do anything to remove her as spouse. Thought you might. I followed your lead and posted she is a granddaughter. I have no interest other than to try and correct things as I come across them. Thanks for responding, geraldine
