Wilfred Henry Harris
I recently found an old picture of a man at an antique shop (Oregon City,Oregon). Written at the bottom: December 22, 1946.
Written on the back: December 22, 1879 - April 20, 1961 - Wilfred Henry Harris.
I believe he is a brother to Anna Florence Harris #70149631 -whom you have posted a picture of. Are you researching this line? Diane

RE: George H. Rees
Peggy, Wow, this is allot of great info. I just drove buy on our way to the coast. It was very hard not to stop and look you up. My wife had a Memorial day engagement in Astoria and she's not one to get distracted.
There is alot here to digest. Wonderful stuff. Right now I'm even more confused. I don't think this is the George i'm looking for. Can i contact you via email? I'd like to review this some and send you what I have on George in Molalla 1851 married to Sarah
my email is bwhittin@cableone.net
thanks for the help.

RE: George H. Rees
thank you so much for your reply. though very strange for the two family s it does explain some of my confusion. Still it's hard for me believe there was no connection possible i guess. I look forward to getting more information from you.
I have two Ancestry.com trees covering the Oregon Rees families.
My ancestry ID is bwhittin54
My direct line "W.E.WHITTINGTON FAMILY TREE"
the Other is "Willard H Rees Temp Tree"

Any light you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

By the way I've recently spent time in Pennsylvania visiting a few Rees ancestry sites and yes there were many Rees families, one being a original "Friend" with William Penn.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Lovelace?
Hi, I'm not sure if you can help me or not. My name is Misty. I am doing a family tree for my husbands family, the Ramseys. I was wondering what you know about Sarah Jane Lemmons? Sarah is my husbands, GG,Grandmother. We have heard family stories that she might have been an Indian? I have been looking on the web for 4 years now. It seems that there was also another Sarah Jane Lemons born in the same time frame as my Sarah Jane, and I have noticed that people are getting the 2 mixed up. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

Baker
Hi Peggy,

Thank you for all the work you've put into these family profiles! I am working on constructing a family tree on Wikitree.com, and I am researching my father's stories at present.

George Baker married Hannah (Fanie) van Schoonhoven, and my father and his brother, her nephews, worked on their ranch during the summer. Would you have any information about that, or any photos of Frank or Bill (Chapel) working on the family ranch? Dad was born in 1931, so it would have been 1940s - early 50s.

Thank you so much,

Claire Chapel Nava

George H. Rees
The work you have done on the Rees' in Cove is wonderfull. Thank-you so much. I to am a Rees decendent and am visiting Cove today. I have information, a letter from a George Rees, dated 1856, and am hoping it is the same George H Rees D.1876 from Cove. Do you have any more information on George?

Thank you for all the work you have done. I would like to get back in touch with you. We are now retired and deep in the genealogy work and we are missionaries at the Family History Center. We now live in Idaho Falls, ID and will be helping others also. I have found a couple of errors in your bios of my father and/or grandfather. I'd like to get that corrected. Please email me at: evelynstowers@yahoo.com.
