RE: Lawson memorial
Thank you so much Nancy.

It is up to you if you wish to transfer them to me. They are family to me but distant cousins.

Hi Nancy, The Thomas Family Tree has Lena passing away on 9 Jun 1914 in Goshen, Pike, Alabama and being buried at Elam. Find A Grave lists it as Elam Davidson or something like that, but her data is not listed that I know of. I have not found any records on it yet. I do have a copy of the marriage certificate. I will be planning a trip to Pike pretty soon to do some research in the Hopewell cemeteries. I can drop by the Elam one also if you want me to. Elam is supposed to be above Goshen. If there is anything else I can do for you just let me know.

RE: Effie Sims
Mentioned Folsom when I meant to meantion Jane Enn Elizabeth Folman, who is the wife of Brian's second great grand uncle. I have a photo of her. Do you?

RE: Effie Sims
Thanks - I will try that. My boyfriend's third great grandfather was Jacob Sims (1893-1879). His direct line moves from Jacob to has daughter Sarah Jane Sims. Diannah Folsom was his 4th great grandmother. I've put Brian Wood's tree up on and have found a lot of information that we are willing to share. Would love photos or paintings that might exist. His mother was a Tiner and this all started because she had said they had Cherokee heritage but did not know where in the family it came from. Now I am obsessed with learning and sharing of both his tree and mine.

RE: Effie Sims
Thanks for responding. I didn't/don't know how to reach Dan Reid. I'm still trying to figure this site out. Would like to be of help to people in my area, but it looks like others are already in line to help. I'll keep trying, though.
