Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a 54 yr. old house wife, mother and grandmother to 3 sons and eight grandchildren. I have a wonderful husband. I started searching my ancesters about 12 yrs. ago. I grew up traveling with my Mom & Dad. He was in the Navy so, I didn't get to know my family very well and now I can't stop trying to find out about them. I don't travel alot now and it has been a blessing to have found F.A.G.COM. If not for them I would not have a lot of the pictures I have of my family graves.

RE: Charles Crankshaw
Your very welcome. I believe he was buried in the Marsh Vault which is fenced off. It is under a very major repair. If you will let me know in about 6 months, I'll check and see if I can get a better photo.

Yow are welcome. If I can be of any help to you in the future please let me know. You are free to have and own the photograph for whatever purposes you need it.

Hope you always find what you are looking for.

Elmwood Cemetery Photo Request
I would be more than happy to take your requested picture in Elmwood Cemetery (Birmingham, Alabama). This cemetery, however, spans over 412 acres and I would need the block and lot numbers, as well as the sectional (N S E W) if applicable.

The Elmwood Cemetery office can be reached by calling 205-251-3114.

I look forward to helping,

I'm sorry about the photos. The stones are not where they normally are. There is a funeral being held in the plot and the stones were moved. I do not know who died and is being buried there.

Pearson Cemetery

I have the picture of James and Nancy Pearson from another find a grave volunteer. It was not posted on the Find A Grave site, so I just put it up. Perhaps you were in the wrong area. I believe the Pearson Cemetery is on Morgan Dairy Rd. From the picture, it looks rather free of weeds and briers?

Let me know if you have any questions?

The ones on your website look very much like mine; I believed when I saw them there, since I had just been out to photo the cemetery, that they were mine. However, if you used the ones from the other site that you mentioned (I had not seen any like mine there), you still need to ask their permission to use and give any other photographer credit. linda

Thank you for adding my name for the photos I took that you placed at your website. I know the ones I uploaded at Findagrave are mine. I don't generally have a problem sharing photos I've taken except when they are used elsewhere without permission. Linda

Hi, Joan,
I see you've posted on your website, the photos of the Bentons that I took on Monday. Would you please give me credit for the photos since I was the photographer? I believe we discussed copyright laws and seeking permission in a separate email. Many thanks.
