What a beautiful tribute. I didn't know the Dr. but did know Jackie and have been friends with her through the internet and our love of quilting, sewing etc for a good number of years

RE: Re:Walter Bowlds
FYI: Walter and Helen are listed in the 1954 Elgin City Directory @ 33 S Porter; & in 1956 @ 618 E Chicago. Also found a reference to Walter repairing train cars at the Gravel Pits in Algonquin circa 1935. I think it was the CNW (Chicago North Western) RR. No mention of Mr. Warner.

RE: Re:Walter Bowlds
It was very nice to hear from you and share some of the stories about Walter. He must have been quite a guy. Here's another one I think you'll like.

The Right-Turn Only Story:
One story Dad and Grandpa loved to relate had to do with the move from Kimball Street to Center Street.
Grandpa Walter had borrowed a truck to move the family. The problem was, the truck could only make right turns - no left turns. So, Grandpa had to carefully plot out a course that only required right turns from the place he borrowed the truck from - to Kimball and from Kimball to Center (plus reload trips) and back to the loaner place again.

Anna Roddis
Hi.

You sent me a request to change Anna Roddis' maiden name from Haderer to Conro. Do you have some document that shows her maiden name is Conro? I would normally just change the name based on a request, but the grave marker does show her name as "Anna Haderer Roddis." How is she related to Albert Haderer? I wasn't sure if she was married to Albert or if Roddis is a second husband? Why is her name shown as "Anna Haderer Roddis" if her maiden name was Conro? Please enlighten me.

Best wishes,
Jim Bellert

Nettie Gannon
I found 2 Weston Cemeteries in Wisconsin but couldn't find Nettie in either of them. Could I have more information on her so I can link her to her husband. I also looked for Nettie and her daughter, Mabel Mae, but couldn't find them either. I did find Harrison Blazier. Pat

Thanks!
