Bio and Links
I have been researching the Wisser family (my father's side) and the Bryant family (my mother's side) since 1999.

I live in California, but most of my family history is from other states.

I appriciate the photographs of my family grave sites that have been posted by others and will try to contribute to others as often as I can.

RE: Bertha Hassler
While there may be more than one Bertha Hassler, I am assuming that you are inquiring as to my grandmother Bertha Hassler just by looking at your last name. My Bertha (nee Smith) was married to a Wisser (James) and one of her sisters Annie was married Robert Wisser. I looked when I saw your last name but didn't think much of it when I saw you lived in California. If this is a connection to you and you need more information on the family, I would be happy to share with you. In my search for my grandmother's information, I have some information on her siblings and some of her family tree. If you do want more information perhaps an private email would serve best and we can figure out how to exchange information. Are you a descendant of Robert Wisser? If so, we are distantly related and would have the same great-grandparents!!!!! How awesome would that be???

RE: Jonathan Wieser stone
You are very welcome. I found doing my genealogy research the dates on the stones aren't always clear with a straight shot, so I take it on a slight angle depending on the time of the day and sunlight and often find that the shots taken on an angle show the writing much clearer, I am glad that you are pleased.

Gary,
I'm glad I was able to help. I'm also looking for photos of relatives graves that are far away. I enjoy being able to help others who have relatives in this area.

Johann Leonardt Weiss/Weisser
Johann Leonhard Weiss, 29 years of age in 1733
Maria Greta (Hermann), 38 years of age in 1733
Do you know any of these people of Lembach, Alsace Germany

Greta may have gone by Hermanij or Hermany and John Leonard Weiss may have gone by Leonard Weisser

These people may have been at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Many of these families took the German passenger ship Samuel in 1733 together on the trip and may have ended up in this located or went to Albany twp., PA. or settled Berks Co.,Washington twp., PA.

John Peter or Peter Weiser/Wisser (MBSC) Bally, PA
John Peter or Peter Wisser/Weiser is buried behind the chapel of St. Paul's Mission Goshenhoppen of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally, PA. Peter's wife was Mary Margaret.
I would suggest that a photo of these tombstones are either behind on the old wall or are crumbled. There is a good chance they may still be there stacked up against the old wall.
Also listed is a Lovinia Wisser/Weiser
Lovinia Weiser
Daughter of John Peter Weiser and Mary Margaret Wisser/Weiser
Age 5 Years
Listed as "Wisser" in the cemetery book.
Suggestive Surname: Wisser/Weiser/Weisser Kind Regards, Joseph
