|Bio and Links|
I have been interested in genealogy for about nine years. I became interested when I found most of the research had already been done on my mother's side of the family going back for centuries. Until then, I had only speculated about my ancestry. I do some traveling with my job and as luck would have it, it is in an area where most of my relatives are buried (on Mom and Dad's side). When I am not too busy on the job I am out hanging out in cemeteries. It is so exciting to actually find the grave of some of the ancestors where I have only seen a name on paper. It validates their existence and a link to my heritage. I love to pass that along to someone else who may also be looking, but is just too far away. Famous ancestors in my tree are "Jack Daniels" 1st cousin 4 times removed as well as the Majors family "Tennessee Vols" and Robert Burns "the poet". |
After finding my family cemetery, I joined with other descendants to restore our ancestors final resting place. My GGGGrandfather James B. Gowen is a veteran of the War of 1812. This cemetery is on, what used to his land. He planted a cedar tree and asked when he passed away to be buried under this tree. Some 70 years later he was. See www.gowencemetery.com

Would you mind attaching the photo you took of the memorial headstone for the Griffith/Standifer families from Griffith Cemetery in Marion Co., TN to others listed on the headstone?

Hello! I saw where you added the picture of Oak Grove Cemetery in Tracy City, Tennessee. I was wondering if you could give me the directions to this.

|Holly||Hatfield Member in cemetery|
You took a picture of Delila (Mansfield) Hatfield gravestone in the Hatfield Cemetery (Sequatchie County, Tennessee).
My question has to do with come children that died young in life.
1. Clayton Hatfield 1891-1891
2. Robert Hatfield 1895-1895
3. William McKinley Hatfield 1899-1899
4. Sarah Jennie Hatfield (1884-1887)
Has you come across these children gravestone marker or known where there are resting in peace.
I know family is in Hatfield & Ranking Cemetery but I have not come across anything about these children.
Any information would be helpfully.
Thank you for your time in this.

|Phillip Mitchell||Ernest Mitchell Memorial # 19910302|
Please connect this memorial to his parents:
George William Mitchell--Memorial #80053424
Lou Mitchell Grammer--Memorial #80053332
|Toni Kane||Criswell Neal #14872172|
Please correct the name on this memorial to Griswell Neal. If you look closely you will see it is a G and not a C. He was a relative of mine and would like the connection to be made in Ancestry.com. Thank you for all your listings.
You're an angel. Thank you so very much for the transfer of Quilla. I will take very good care of her. God bless you for your work here on findagrave.
|Kerry Dunn||Mannon Mullins|
Hello Sylvia, my name is Kerry Powell Dunn. Mannon Mullins was my great-grandfather. His son Guy was my grandfather and Guys oldest daughter Mary Ella is my mother. I remember Aunt Maggie well. I don't know how much you know about Mannon, but he married sisters. His first wife was Lucinda Pierce, who I think was my papa's mother, as Guy died when I was only 13 and he was 75. I'm 52 now. Martha Caroline would have been his second wife. There is still a sister, Mattie Lou, living near Lynchburg, Tennessee. We have a family reunion every Labor Day weekend in Lynchburg. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Shelbyville.
