|Warren Eastright||RE: Thank you|
Hi Lois, as so as I can you'll be getting all the Eckenrode's I have memorials on. It'll be next weekend when I'll do it.
|Warren Eastright||RE: Thank you|
Hi Lois, its me again, no to your question about publish books with cemetery records. I have seen
the Eckenrode name in my family tree, just not sure if it was under the Eastright or Estright name. Will look to see if I can find it.
|Warren Eastright||Donna Landi|
Hi Lois, thank you forwarding the cemetery Donna was placed in. I notice that you have the same maiden name, feel free asking for a transfer. I post the unknown placement, because I believe that everyone should have a memorial.
|Sherry ||RE: Mary J. Eckenrode Fogelsanger|
Thanks. I deleted the Fogelsanger memorial. I have been working on both names this week in Spring Hill trying to clean up the memorials. The two spellings are messed up in local burial records. There are people such as Mary listed under both spellings and there are parents who spelled the name Fogelsanger and some of the children spell it Fogelsonger.
I did just finish adding all of both names to the cemetery from burial records so now it is just figuring out if the spelling is correct.

How I got the same person in two different cemeteries is beyond me (well, not realy). I delted one I had in St. Augustine.
I love findagrave. What a collection of information! It's now the first place I go to to try and find somebody.
I believe that if you drink the water in Cambria Co., you wind up conneted to the McGuire, Adams, Eckenrode, Watt, Ivory's, Schwabs and host of other old time Cambria Co. famalies. I know that for fact. I read it on the Internet :).
|M. Aumen||RE: Henry Ignatius Eckenrode|
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm sure that I'm not the only FindaGrave member who relishes in hearing that the endless the copying and pasting and tapping is appreciated!
About Henry Ignatius Eckenrode very glad you brought that up because I've been wondering about that cemetery ever since it's been posted. His wife Margaret (Roddy) Eckenrode's obituary tells that she was buried "in the Mountain cemetery" and I initially took this to mean Mountain View Cemetery, aka Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery, and made a reasonable assumption that Henry being deceased previously was buried there, too. But as most all of their children are buried at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery aka St. Anthony's Cemetery (have yet to locate Bertha R. mentioned in the siblings' obituaries and looks like Catharine and one more child according to your census research) couldn't help but wonder if the Mountain meant Mount St. Mary's, although most obituaries I've seen give the name of the parish so left it as Emmitsburg Memorial till more confirmation became available. Probably shouldn't have done what I did in creating the memorials but done is done. Thank you so much for the concrete proof!
Would "Names in Stone" happen to mention whether Mount St. Mary's is the final resting place of Henry Ignatius' siblings Mary L., Pius William, and Susan R. Eckenrode who died as infants in Frederick County Maryland? My focus has been on the family of Henry and Anna Barbara (Kuhn) Eckenrode, Sr., which is almost more than I can chew, although I try to attend to Henry Sr.'s brothers and sisters families' memorials from time to time.
Unfortunately, I will have to take all of the obituaries down someday as it is not allowed to post photos from other websites. Although technically I own the photos as I have paid for them, there is always finer print. However, this will not happen before I begin the task of converting them all to text which I hope that most contributors will be willing to put in the biographical section. Although there are some that I personally own that are not from websites, most will have to be taken down including all the ones I have for the Eckenrodes. Recently got an ancestry.com account although I have yet to make my tree public, and I plan to have the obituary copies made available there as I transcribe them to their respective FindaGrave memorial biography section.
My apologies for going on, thank you for your help. If there is ever anything that I could assist with please let me know!
