I was born in Houston, Harris County, Texas and was raised in the Dallas area. My family roots go deep in Cass County, San Jacinto & Robertson County, Texas. (Surnames - Smith, Evers, Penny, Ansley, Elledge and Currie)|
If you were born in San Jacinto, Houston, Polk or Robertson County, Texas and are a Currie by birth, we're related. :) And, I do have a copy of Currietown & Beyond. Double :)
I am grateful for any corrections or additions. I love to transfer memorials I've added to family members for their "safe keeping". (Please remember that direct descendants should always have management when possible. If you are not a direct descendant, I would ask that you transfer to one should they ever request it from you.)
I will not transfer any memorials that are for anyone that I am a direct descendant of. I prefer to maintain management of those until such time as I am no longer able to care for them. I appreciate your understanding.
If you are a FAG Contributor, and you send me messages about a memorial, but do not include an email address or have your messages turned off on your profile...I may not respond to your request.
I have had a number of people offer "corrections" to memorials, but when I have documentation to back up my information and cannot contact them back to inform/share this with them, I find it very frustrating. Thanks!

Hello Cissy this is your cousin Ruby Lee. We are planning to go to Texas soon. Hope the weather is okay that way. Hope all is well with all our kin. Love email@example.com 47230178
I noticed someone asked you to remove death certificates you had posted. Find A Grave rules clearly state you can add death certificates to memorials. Please don't remove them. I know all the information on there, just like with other data is not always 100% correct, but it gives us information we can start our research with. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
Thank you for adding these to memorials. The information provided has helped me so much in my research.

It's been three weeks, and I have contacted you several times with information regarding my family members but to no avail.

I found a box of photos from this family during a move. Somehow their box ended up in my storage.
I would like to find a way to return these pictures to the family. Do you know how to contact anyone related to Grave Number 342020869

Please remove the death cert. that you place on this fore mentioned memorial. I do not want them on any memorial that I have created or maintain. I have found many that is not correct, again please remove it.

I saw your query on my Find A Grave site. I do not believe we are directly related. However if you go clear back to the immigrant ancestor we are related. You are down from his son Robert and I am down from his son Solomon. Welcome, cousin.
