My name is Karen. I have been working on my family tree for 15 years now and have found so much info from visiting cemeteries. I am thrilled with the Find A Grave site!
I have been filling photo requests and adding memorials for cemeteries near where I live in Connecticut, to hopefully help others in their research, and to preserve a record of the older stones before they are unreadable and/or get damaged by age, weather, or vandalism.
Currently I am actively photographing cemeteries in Hebron, Gilead, Amston, Marlborough, Bolton, Andover, Columbia, Lebanon, Colchester, Glastonbury, and East Hampton (all in Connecticut). Please put in any photo requests you have...I may even already have the photos, but just haven't posted them yet.
Photo Use Permission Feel free to use my photos in your personal research since after all, that's one reason I take the photos. I have received a lot of requests recently to post these photos on Ancestry - please consider this as permission to do so, but I would love it if you would PLEASE give a photo credit to "Karen Carlini (KC) - Find A Grave" as I have spent so much time and effort to take and post all these photos, and getting a little credit would be really nice. :) Thanks for your consideration, and I hope I've helped with your family research! :)
Corrections, Additions, and Transfers Please email me by using the "suggestion/correction" link if you have additions or corrections to any of my memorials, or if you are a relative that falls within the Find A Grave guidelines (or close to it) and would like a memorial transferred to you. I'm always happy to add links and bios and want my memorials to be as helpful and accurate as possible!
Virtual Cemetery and Surnames I am related to most of the people in my virtual cemetery. Some of the surnames I am researching: (north-east) Manchester, Macomber, Pettey, Tripp, Devoll, Rutter, Waltham, Gray, Briggs, Brownell, Corey/Cory, Soule/Sowle, Wodell/Wardell, Lake, Allen, Snell, and (southern) Stevenson, Childs, Chancellor, Garner, Sledge, McGinty, Reavis, Shaw, Miller, Sikes, and Boren. I'm especially interested in old photos of my ancestors and cousins. Please ask if you want more info or want to share. I'm always glad to help and always glad to hear from cousins!

 | Thomas Hunt headstone photo KC, Thank you so much for posting the photo! I was thinking that there wasn't even a tombstone for him and I really appreciate your trying to get a photo that might actually show the inscription.
It's delightful to just know that there IS a tombstone there, and very nice to know that it could be read after all of this time.
You're so wonderful to go the "extra mile"!!
Thank you again!!

 | Thomas Hunt headstone Hi KC,
I'd love to have the photo posted (even if it's unreadable).
I'm also thrilled that it's THERE!! I thought that it weathered with time and elements.
Please submit the photo, I'd love to see it.
Thank you so very much again,
