I am an avid genealogist and I am extremely interested in corresponding with other family researchers working on their various early TROUT lines (all spelling variations) arriving in America during the 1700s from Germany, England, and Canada. I take great pleasure in frequently assisting other TROUT researchers with their family lines.|

Mr.Trout I saw your name on the memorial page of Laura Trout.
I am inquiring in Laura Trout & her mother Lydia Mitchell Ferges.
Laura's grandmother & grandfather was Elizabeth Bandy Mitchell & Samuel C. Mitchell.
One thing I am interested in is to locate where Laura Trout's grandfather Samuel Mitchell is buried. Laura's grandmother Elizabeth Bandy Mitchell Hurst is buried in Franklin County, Ill. in the Franklin Cemetery at Whittington north of Benton Illinois.
If you are interested I would like very much to correspond with you.
My connection to the Mitchell/Ferges/Trout familes is: Elizabeth Bandy Mitchell married my 2nd great gradnfather John Hurst in 1844 in Franklin County Ill I believe. John & Elizabeth had a son Levi who is my 1st great grand father.
I am also interested in knowing who were the children of Laura A Ferges Trout & if there are any decendents still living.
You can also reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank You, Alice Hurst

Take 662 to Pricetown (South from Fleetwood, North from Oley) to the stop light. Go east on Pricetown Road about .25 miles (past St, John's and the firehouse)to Oak Lane. Take a right and go about 400 feet. The building on the right is in front of the burial ground. Very few headstones. The last time I was there was 6 years ago. Don't remember why I was there. (My son's father-in-law lives about 6.5 miles away in Lyons.) The map tab has a good location in the satellite view. It becomes 3-D at max magnification and you can actually see the three headstones behind the building. Hope you can get more info. As you can see there was snow on the ground and I remember it was well below freezing with a stiff breeze.
|Sandra Scott||Trout lineage|
I have recently begun the journey into my family genealogy. My mother was a Trout. Her father was Jacob Trout and her mother was Ella Varney. I have traced back to Rev. Stephen M. Trout, my second great grandfather. I kind of stalled there. Is Christian Trout my third great grandfather? How about farther back?
My mom's parents both died when she was a little girl, so I have virtually no information on the Trout lineage. ANY help you can give would be appreciated. My mother was Vida Fern Trout.
