That information came from the MS Confederate Grave Registry index cards on micro films found at the MS Department of Archives and History in Jackson. These cards were compiled back in the 1930s and 1940s. Information on the cards came from family members, newspapers, headstones, cemetery records and official records.

Al Howry

I went to New Albany National Cemetery to photo graph the marker for Al Howry, but realized the Section was not listed with the location number. I checked the registry there and he is not listed on the registry. I also checked the National Gravesite Locator when I got home and could not find him listed on their site at all. Do you have the Section that corresponds with the location?
