I could not find his obit on line in the archives of the Augusta Chronicle, Augusta, GA. I did locate Mary Corley's obit, but I would have to pay by the month to obtain it. You may want to telephone them as see if they will research it for you and send you a copy.

Next time I am over there, I will look for her stone and see if there might be an unmarked grave or one with the stone damaged or illegible. I will let you know what I find.

Thanks so much for information. I am working trying to add people not listed from St. Johns.
If you need a transfer let me know.
|SkipM||RE: J B Murrow|
My data has Rev J.B. Murrow b. 1826, d.1880, m. Sarah M. Thorn, one child Flavor R.(1862-1939). His family included many Baptist preachers. His father was Rev. John William Murrow, and he had two brothers also preachers, Rev. William J. Murrow and Rev.Dr. Joseph Samuel Murrow (who ministered to the Indian Nations in Oklahoma.) These two brothers of J.B. were among the first graduates of the Baptist Seminary at Mercer University. Best wishes, Skip.
