Jonah Belcher Photo?
I am the Granddaughter of Jonah and Mary Eddie (Cool) Belcher from Pike Co. Ky. When I pulled up his page on Find A Grave I was shocked to see a picture of a very handsome soldier. I am so perplexed because this man is not my Papaw because Papaw was never a soldier. He was a magnificent carpenter and a coal miner. He even lost a leg from the knee down in the mines. Who is this man, and if he is supposed to be my Papaw where did you get this photo? This is very misleading to anyone seeking information about my Papaw! My Papaw was not one who liked to have his photo taken so there are very few left. Please clear this matter up for me. My email address is or I can be reached at 606-422-0203. I don't normally give my cell number so you can appreciate the importance of this matter. Please contact me as soon as possible.
Sincerely, Debra Belcher Parsons

The Flag Springs Cemetery I am talking about is in Walnut Twp., Gallia County, Ohio. James's memorial is listed in this one. You might want to check it out.

James Lyall Nolen
Do you know about where James may be buried? My mother is buried there, and I have taken a big percentage of the stones. I have not found his stone or marker. Let me know if he is close by someone, and I will take a picture next time I am out there. Thanks.

RE: Daniel Tankersley
Hi Mary, Did you create the cemetery when you set up Daniel's memorial? I suspect he is actually buried in the Flat Woods Baptist Church Cemetery which is in Garrard County, just north of Crab Orchard. What did the death certificate says about the burial location? Nancy

Daniel Tankersley
Hi Mary, I just saw your memeorial for Daniel Tankersley (Memorial# 67795865). Is it possible you created a duplicate cemetery for him (of Flat Woods Baptist Church Cemetery at ) or is he a solitary burial? Thanks. I'd be happy to help you with this. Nancy

Mary, I just did some checking and i believe Potters Field is shown in the top photo, which would be across the road but in Richmond cemetery.

Are you related to the family members of Isaac Middleton ????????????. Karen

Isaac Middleton 1838-1926
Mary, I was notified this morning that Isaac is not buried in the Richmond Cemetery.
He is buried in Potters Field, across from section K, along the fence.

I asked for a photo of his grave and this information was given to the volunteer from Richmond Cemetery.

Karen Potts # 46922848

P.S. Could you please the burial location for Isaac Middleton.

Death date for Thomas Manning is on headstone as Mar 12, 1948 not 1946.
