This was my dog and best buddy, Ralph. He crossed the bridge in November 2009 at the age of 16-1/2 years. Besides being his "mom," mom to two humans and grandma to seven little ones, and mom to two scampering cats and another dog, I am currently at work on my master's in history (emphasis on 19th century America) at Kent State University. My late husband Dave and I have also always had a fondness for family history and cemeteries. My wish is that every person could find all the graves of their ancestors easily, and I think Find A Grave is an excellent way to accomplish this. I also have a special fondness for the out of the way, abandoned, and/or hidden cemetery - makes us wonder how these people were so forgotten. And I feel strongly that ALL veterans need to be remembered, and I find it quite sad when we locate a veteran buried with no stone.|
Please feel free to copy any photos I've taken. And please don't hesitate to forward new information to me on any of my memorials and of course, if you are a descendant, I'll be happy to transfer any memorials to you!

You're so welcome. It's always disappointing when graves are unmarked. I often wonder if that was their preference or was money an issue? Another mystery. Take care.

I was at Spring Grove Cemetery this week and I searched in Section 73 Lot 97. The lot report says there are 4 burials in this lot _ Caroline, Edith, Geo B. and another Geo B. Hussey. I was unable to find ANY markers in this lot.

Thank you for the transfer of these memorials. Quite often I find that only with the help of volunteers, as you are, families are now able to clear up the burial records of their ancestors. Several generations later we are now being able to link family members together through Find A Grave.
Bless our volunteers...

That's usually what I do. We 're plowing thru all of this, trying to straighten the mess out.
It isn't guaranteed that you will find the record you want. I've added dups myself and then I find the authogravr record. The searches in Find A Grave aren 't always thorough either.
We keep trying.

you are creating duplicates.
Anna Brown Find A Grave Memorial# 124319267 yours
Anna Brown Find A Grave Memorial# 78898913 autogravr
deaths or interments that occurred prior to October 23, 2011 are most likely already added.
I will delete the autogravr record as yours is more complete but please be on the look out for records already added.
thanks so much.

memorial #126526142 Working on patients who died and were buried at Andrew S Rowan Memorial Hospital. Obie died there but was buried with family in Sunrise. This is not my family although the same was true for my great grandfather who died at age 95 at Rowan Home and buried in the family cemetery in Summers Co.

Wow! Frances was married to Robert Clawson Puterbaugh and is buried in Marion. You can look him up on find a grave and she is listed.
Did you ever go to Dora's? We stayed with her when I was a little girl and we had just moved to Muncie. I always loved her salt and pepper shaker collection. My aunt Pat is her grand-daughter and so you are related to her. Pat lives in TN. I will get her email too.
Mine is firstname.lastname@example.org
