I've been researching both my husband's and my families since 1996. As a result I've been in many cemeteries in York County, PA (Wallace, Hibner families), Central Counties of PA (Steele, Barr, Magill, Snook, Goss) and Schoharie County, NY (Palmer, Moot, Terpenning, Fox families)and other misc. places.|
I've always been fascinated by cemeteries and find it a fun and rewarding method of research. I can't wait until I'm old enough to retire (librarian in Tampa, FL) and have more time to travel and research more family cemeteries. Update: retired 5/31/14 :>)
Most of the people I listed that are buried in PA or NY are related to either me or my husband. A few are not but happened to be in the same cemetery. If the cemetery was small I would record everyone - as further research might prove that they also were related. Anyhow, I welcome corrections and additional information and am willing to share my own research including sources. As a librarian, sources are important.
As a member of the Florida Genealogical Society (FGS), I input some records for Woodlawn Cemetery from the book "Hillsborough County, Florida Cemeteries 1840-1985, Volume 8" compiled by FGS in 1990. The information is supplemented by a Tampa city government website: http://www.tampagov.net/dept_parks_and_recreation/information_resources/cemeteries/ and personal visits.

You are welcome.

It looks like you put Nathan Hall in twice
He died Nov. 12, 1835 at Brooker Hollow Cemetery Schoharie County. Could you delete one of them?

I got a better pic this morning for the Francis Doner memorial. The sun helped a lot.

Thanks for the memorial for my great grandmother. Tampa is my adopted home town, and I lived in a neighborhood adjacent to Woodlawn Cemetery for many years and used to visit the family plot. ~Fred

I'm a descendant of the Cropsey family and have been working on this family for decades. I would like the transfer. If I find someone more closely related, I'll pass it along.

I also created David Doner and his wife Susanna yesterday after taking pix of their stone in Plainfield, PA. We all have to work together to keep making this the great website it is.

Thanks for finding her plot. Someone told me previously she wasn't there but now I know she just doesn't have a marker. Much appreciated.
