Sarah Fox is my great great great grandmother and i was wondering if she is any relations to Elizabeth, Because an Elizabeth Fox Date of Birth 1814 showed up on Sarah's 1880 United States Federal Census, Sarah Fox was married to Hamilton Luster, and they had a son named Asa Carter Luster and Asa was married to Josephine Silvada Simpson. I notice you left a 'virtual flower' on memorial #7563809 "In memory of my great great grandfather." You have probably noticed that the photo of the tombstone on that memorial is really a photo of the tombstone of William's brother, Capt Samuel McKown. My real interest is in their father, John McKown (born abt 1828-1829) (your great-great-great-grandfather). John was still living in Rantoul Twp in 1870. Do you know when and where John died and is buried? If William's own grave is unmarked, perhaps John is in the same cemetery and also in an unmarked grave. Any light you can cast on this mystery would be much appreciated. -- Jay | |

It is an invasion of their privacy at such a young age to have a photo of their father's headstone easily available on the Internet and as their mother and Kurt's widow, I respectfully request that you take the photo down. You added two photo's for Restland Cemetery in Mendota, LaSalle, Il. One is of the Civil War Statue that is there, the other is the open Bible that is a different cemetery, not Restland. There are in all 3 total cemeteries there. Please be so kind as to remove that one.

Caroline Gates March 20 1812 Nov 26 1893--Note 1893--Check picture- you can click on it to make it bigger. I think it is 1893 because we should have gotten this date from Ill death records.
