RE: Victoria Martin Black
Added your bio details and links to our original. Will be glad to transfer once the duplicate is deleted, however, will be out of town with iffy internet access for a few days...

Thanks!

Found a family tree on ancestry, they had dates. I used it. There was a few more ancestry trees and a family search.com site. Always open to corrections..

RE: Evergreen Cemetery
You're going to think I'm crazy with my other note! I thought it was you who had picked up my other requests at Mt. Hope, so please disregard that part of my message.

Thanks again,
Melanie

RE: Evergreen Cemetery
Hi, Eileen,

Thanks very much for this information. It is very helpful. How sad all those stones were lost!

Another volunteer sent me some pictures they had taken of the Potter's Field area and the two crosses there, so that won't be necessary for you to send photos of that part.

I do appreciate you checking Mt. Hope for my other requests, and would love it if you could confirm that Marjorie Kemp is buried in the Evergreen section. Here death notice said she was buried at Evergreen, so I really have no idea where she was reburied. Is there a listing of those buried at Evergreen, or would you have to know exact names/dates to find out? I have lost track of a few of Marjorie's family and wondered if they are also at Evergreen or possibly at Mt. Hope?

There is Henry Conran Lyan Kemp, Antoinette "Nettie" Kemp, Francis T. Kemp, or there might be others with the surname Stevens in the same areas at either Evergreen or Mt. Hope. I've been lucky to find several relatives' deaths listed in California newspapers lately, but unfortunately I can't find all of them.

Thanks again for your help and kindness,
Melanie
