Bio Photo UPDATE: 9-1-2014

I will not accept threatening emails and I will not respond to them. I work hard to share this info not for others to take it over and take down the work I put in. If you don't like it don't come to this site. I also what to let others know I do have a life outside findagrave or family tree. Please understand am doing my best to share the info and try to give credit where it is due.

One other note If I put up info in my name it because there my family and I will not transfer but am willing to share and update info when I have time.

RIP June 25, 2010 Mike Zeigler

I also find it very very rued of people yell at me when I go and take my time to take photos for them! I sorry if I don't calm them first but if someone clam go undone for weeks and that find a grave person does not fill it in the first day the clam the photo the should not be doing it. Get over it! I only clam if I know I will do it that day for sure or I do it after because I had to go to that same cemetery. But if I can't calm it it not my fault I was there and ask nice for some help by the care taker for that cemetery to find that grave. I hope you understand you people that are ungrateful for the work I have done! This e-mail go out to a lot of people. I rather have 10 people take the same photo over just one! You be surprised what other findagrave people find over some lazy person only take one shot and it over. I take many even the grave by it as you never know that person ask could also be look for a long lost family member and they could be buried right next to them if you only take the time to take more shots. I will take any shots if I find there more then one person buried in a family plot.

I been work on Genealogy since I was 20 years old! I am still learning this and willing to help others find there family as I have been finding mine on this great site! I live in Portland, Oregon grew up in Woodburn, Oregon in between Salem and Portland, Oregon. I hope that you find your family or friends here!

P. S. Please check out my family tree on!

Daniel Gregory
Just to let you know on this particular grave. The picture of the tombstone is of Daniel H. Gregory, son of Daniel Gregory. The stone has Daniel H. Gregory and also listed is his wife Mariah R. (under his information). I don't believe Daniel (Sr.) has a stone (at least I haven't found it so far). Daniel H. was born in 1814 and his wife, Mariah was born about 1815.

The stone is very difficult to read so I fully understand the mistake. From another volunteer. PS: I appreciate all you do as a volunteer on FindaGrave.

His parents' names are from his death certificate which can be seen in the original on Seeking Michigan for free. Here it is as I transcribed it:

All of my sources can be read in the notes in my Rootsweb Worldconnect file rtegen; here is a link to it:

All of this is in my profile, it would be better if a link to a genealogy file were more prominent in Find A Grave. Charles is my sister's husband's ancestor.

I have sent a couple of emails to you but it appears you have not received them. I was hoping you wouldn't mind transferring my sister's memorial to me. My # is 48083261. Thank you so very much. :)

L.B. Davis
Davis - 1720 - 1748 1800

According to Ancestry, my ancestor William Davis b. 1720, married Issabella Greenwood and had a child James "Ship Captain" Davis in Tinkling Spring in 1748. Son of this James Davis and wife Rebecca Pickens was James Davis, Jr. who married Elizabeth Daughdrill. I am trying to find graves.

Since William Davis had only two known children whereas most families then had 8 to 12. Did he die in the American Revolutionary War?

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, please except my condolences.

Would you happen to know if your James H. Desper was married? Maybe to an Ann?

burial at Bonilla Cemetery
I believe Sharon Arneson is buried in the Tulare (SD) Cemetery, not the Bonilla (SD) cemetery. My parents have worked on the burial lists for many years for the Bonilla Cemetery, and her name is not on the list. I also rec'd an email from a Tulare resident who says she is buried at Tulare. Thanks for correcting this.

Link request
Would you please link Ellis Coffey #13433300 to his mother, Alice Peter Demasters Coffey #33191901, or better yet, transfer his memorial to me? He is my great uncle.

Thank you!

Shirley Jones
RE: Crescent Grove Cemetery - Jones & Catt family
Thank you very much for adding the Jones family headstone on F.A.G. and yes, I would appreciate any other photos you would care to send by e-mail. My husband's grandmother Daisy Neal Jones was related to the Catt family. I did not know they were in Oregon with the Joneses so that is good information. Thank you again! Shirley
