I became interested in Genealogy when I moved to AZ in 2000 and discovered Find a Grave 10 years ago.
I started researching my husbands family and then moved on to mine. I have met a lot of friends and family over the years, and the family continues to grow and so do the trees I am working on. I appreciate everyone's help.
RE: William Wirth Oh my..I happened to come across Sir John Alvin while researching my Alvin line. Pearl Wirth's mother was an Alvin (Grace Silma Alvin, & her parents are buried in Lebanon, Ore). I still miss Jocko, he was my best grandpa.
Shuman brothers Hi! I claimed your photo request for John and Mahlon Shuman at Greenwood cemetery in McCool Ne. The only Shuman stone found was for Mary(?) Shuman. But there was a Spanish American war veteran marker/stake by her headstone. Were either of these men vets? I also checked the other Greenwood in York Ne. and they are not listed there.
RE: John C. & Emma J. Wirth Don't you just love it when all the branches come together and form a beautiful tree. I am so glad that I was paying attention and inquired. As a genealogist myself, I have felt the many blessings from doing my own family research. Especially, when it comes to finding that lost soul or that little bit of information that links all the pieces together. Have a wonder New Year and God bless - Diana
John C. & Emma J. Wirth Greetings from the Tri-Cities, WA. While I was obtaining burial info for John and Emma Wirth, I ran across another "Wirth" whose burial site is 2 spaces over from John & Emma's burial site. His name is John Clarence Wirth; 5/16/1929 - 6/6/2011. He was a CMSGT in the US Air Force in Korea & Vietnam. Is he any relation to John & Emma Wirth? I took a picture of his brass grave plate just in case there is a relation between them. - Diana
