HELLO! ANYONE IN THE TAMPA AREA...I'M IN NEED OF A GRAVING PARTNER. Leave me a message if you're interested. |
I love genealogy, cemeteries, and graving.
Born and raised in St.Petersburg, Florida (6th generation Floridian), I now reside in Tampa. Now if you have a correction or addition to a memorial for me, PLEASE send it via the memorial! Most of you know this, but for those who don't, sending it through the memorial saves a lot of time! Thanks! Also... I'm always happy to transfer memorials to family members. :O)
My surnames include: McCrary, Austin, McCulloch, Watford, Sweet, Groken(barger), Vickers, Downer, Miles, Brockway, Slater, Williams, Allen, Toole, Millard, Wright and many more.

Funny, I have been to this cemetery for the first time in about 1985. My husband grew up very near here! He use to play at the Legion Park and we never ever miss Bo's when we come to Tampa!

Nice town feel for such a large city. I lived not too far from Memorial Park Cemetery. Came home to be back with parents, siblings, children and grand babies. Never regretted moving back.

Hi Janet, I would love to be a graving partner with you, but....I moved from St.Petersburg, FL back to Wisconsin 2 years ago! I do come back at least once a year and visit the cemeteries, friends and mostly the beach! I will be back the end of June for several weeks. If you would like to visit a few at that time send me an email and I will send you my cell phone number.

Thanks for updating it and for permission to use pics.I think there is a duplicate memorial for her, created after yours. How do we correct that?
|lcurtisvt||Samuel Allen of Pittstown & Samuel Allen Jr. of Plymouth, PA|
Descendant of both these men. Happy to connect with other descendants. The graves shown of Samuel Allen, Sarah Shepard Hammond Allen, and Isaac Allen are in Millertown Cemetery, Johnsonville, Rensselear Co, NY. Some of Sam and Sarah's sons (Jacob and Peter) are buried in the Factory Village Cemetery in Milton, NY area.
|Don Avery||RE: Hi Cousin!|
Yes, they are buried together, I just don't have the photo set up that way. So, we're cousins are we?
|Caroyn Strohecker||John Allen JR|
I have a correction for you. The Samuel Allen married to Sarah Shepard Hammond is intered in Millertown Cemetery, Pittstown, NY along with his wife Sarah and son Isaac. This Samuel Allen is the father of Samuel Allen wife Mary Drake, died Luzerne, PA.
