RE: Rev. Gray Williams
Hi Nicki, I will be glad to do it but it might be awhile. I input the data for this cemetery from a list another person that takes care of this cemetery. He give me a list of the people they knew were there and it looks like Rev Williams might only have a footstone now. This cemetery is located about a 1/2 or 1 mile from a locked gate. I will need to call and make a arrangement to meet him. The road back is really a small lane that you need a truck to get there. I have been wanting to take the pics of the other stone since it is so far back. I hope you don't mind, if it takes a little while.

RE: Need photo
Hello Nicki,

I have recently moved and just now getting back on the internet and reading the message.

I have both Purdy Cemetery and Old Purdy Cemetery down the road from the newer Purdy Cemetery recorded and neither has grave stones for Williams.

The newer cemetery is well taken care of, the older one is in bad condition with fallen limbs and trees etc. If they are buried in either cemetery their stones are not there or unmarked sand stones in the older one.

Thanks,
Shelia

One last thing
I thought about this all last night and I have logged into many computers and some are public and I bet I didn't click to NOT remember my password on the PC and maybe someone sent that message not realizing they were using my acct. Anyway, I have changed my password so this should no longer be the issue now. Thank you so much for being so kind about this and not just assuming things before asking.

I would say to re post the pictures then. This person is not my family so I would have no say in something like that. Still weird. I am so baffled by this. Thanks for letting me know.

I don't ever recall sending such a message. Odd. I have been to this cemetery before though. I do apologize but truly don't know why I would even type such a thing. Are you positive it came from me and not just the picture that was posted? Please keep me informed. Really weird.

RE: John A. Duncan
Your welcome. We took all the Duncan's we could find. This cemetery is an old one. A lot of markers becoming damaged. Glad to help.

RE: Charles H. Chamberlain pic
I don't find her. She is not on his stone and I don't find her anywhere else. The plot has room for many burials as there are no other markers close to his. Usually they have both names on the marker but don't have the death date entered for the second one. It doesn't make sence if they are both in the same cemetery and he didn't remarry to not be listed on his stone. It is a four flat sided stone and would expect other names. I left the message on his picture because I didn't know how to leave it for you. I find this quite confusing some times. Maybe the Church could tell you if she is unmarked as most cemeteries do keep track of it. Alan
