I want to thank you so much for taking the time to find the dates and places of birth and death, the maiden names and linking the families. You have reached the area in St. Mary's where my family is buried and I have been able to verify and correct information due to your hard work.
I plan on improving my own work here on findagrave.

Thank you so much for the pictures of Uncle Joe's resting place. The pictures are so clear and have helped me fill in a blank in my genealogy. Have a great day!

I transferred this to JOhn Gibney so the photos would remain. I think i blew it cuz it will remain as a dup of 34517380?? Hope not
Thomas-I want to check something with you regarding the memorials that you have added to this Maghera Churchyard Cemetery in Maghera, Derry, NI for Convery/Scullion graves.
My understanding is that there are three main cemeteries in the Maghera area. The 1st & 2nd are on Main Street and adjacent to the Old & New St. Lurach CofE Church buildings in the center of Maghera. These two are often referred to as the St. Lurach Old & New Maghera Cemeteries. I think the photo added by Sunny for this Maghera Churchyard with your memorials is actually the Old St. Lurach graveyard on Main Street.
However, there is also a cemetery outside Maghera on Glen Rd. in the Glen/Fallagloon area. It is next to St. Patrick's Catholic Church. This church was referred to as the Glen Chapel in the 1800s & now named St. Patrick's. Based on a quick check, I believe that the burial records that you have added are from this Glen Catholic Cemetery. The records on a website www.irishgraveyards.ie match your records for names locations, etc. This website refers to it as "Old Maghera Graveyard", but they also show a photo of the graveyard next to St. Patrick's Church on Glen Rd. They also have gravestone photos.
I was initially confused with all the "old maghera cemeteries", but I think I have it sorted out now, after some research.
I plan to add some memorials of my own for the Glen Catholic Cemetery, but I wanted to resolve this with you first before I added the St. Patrick - Glen Catholic Cemetery, to avoid duplication of Cemeteries on find-a-grave.
Let me know your thoughts/knowledge on this. Thanks - WPM
