I have been interested in genealogy for several years now working on Bacon, Woodson, Marshall, Shopbell, Munson, among others, mostly in Kansas, Illinois, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri and Ohio. I'm excited to be able to find family members on Find A Grave and am willing to take pictures, do look ups for anyone in the Bluffton, Beaufort County, SC. When I was little, my grandmother would make me go to the cemetery with her but I wouldn't get out of the car. Now, my husband points out all of the cemeteries whenever we drive anywhere because he knows I want to go "looking for dead people" as he lovingly calls it. Looking forward to posting information AND finding graves of people I'm looking for.

Hello! I have uploaded your photo request for George Bacon, Sr. While at the plot I saw markers for his wife, Alice, & his brother, Abraham C (if I read his memorial correctly). I have posted photos for them as well.

Their location is: Section 26. Lot 72.

"Are you a relative? Or you just posted this grave for someone? I am a relative and would love to exchange information."

No relation. Just a random posting.

George Bacon....
I forgot to answer your question. No, I am not kin to any Bacons... happy to transfer if you would like to adopt them.

RE: George Bacon
Could you please send this via the S.A.C.? That way I don't have to look for him and maybe make another mistake. Thanks

There is no kinship. Many years ago I started cutting out and taping obits to index cards. Got to thinking they would not be of any good to anyone else so I started putting those obits on Find A Grave. I have met and helped many people with these postings. Also, I have made many new friends.
Keep up your good work. If you ever need anything, yell real loud! BTW, I live in Jesup, GA.

RE: Memorial #15001054

Thank you for your post about your great-grandfather William Warren Woodson. The birth date you supplied to me seems to contradict the date I have from a newspaper clipping about him (discovered in a family bible). What source provided you these dates? Also if it turns out we are talking about the same gentlman that makes us cousins as he is my great-great-grandfather. ;)
