I have had the pleasure of meeting several of the wonderful volunteers here and my life has been enriched by them. I enjoy adding records and viewing the records that others have added.
I love history, classical music, ballet and writing.

Hi Sandra,

I don't need the info at the moment, thanks. :) I get most of the Henderson info from and other Henderson family.

I may stop contributing here. Have picked up a CyberBully here at F.A.G.!! First time ever in all the years I've been here. Her name is Barbara L. Kirkland. Watch out for her. She's mental for sure. I've written the Administrators about this. Never had to do that before.

Happy Researching!
Pamela :)

RE: Melvin

No, I don't know him. A friend got me started doing this just about 3 months ago, and prior to that I never really thought about geneology research before. I mostly joined the site to be a photographer, but I've since been adding memorials for those I find that need them. It's becoming quite a fun hobby!

I did see at least one or two Greenwoods, but not the one I was looking for when I stumbled onto the Melvins! I never did see John Greenwood that night. I will check the area again for you the next time I'm at IOOF in Du Quoin.

RE: Florence Ratley
Yes I see that she is now where she belongs, but it looks like the sponsorship is not there. I think you should send an e-mail to the Admins and tell them what happened. I'm sure they can fix that.

I also can't help but notice that there are 83 photo requests in that cemetery. I hope it is not because the cemetery staff are uncooperative. If I get a chance, I will check it out but it will be several weeks before I can go there. Their website,, says it is 1,400 acres! That's a pretty big place. Now I am curious. If I am able to go, I will claim your Aunt Fern's photo request, if it has not already been done.
Take care,

RE: Florence Ratley
Hi again. Moving it will not change any of the information. The only difference you should notice is that there will be a photo of the entrance to the cemetery on Florence's memorial page. Everything else, including the sponsorship, should remain the same. You are the only one (other than an Administrator) who has the capability of editing the information on a memorial that YOU have created. Thank you for cooperating.

RE: Florence Ratley
Hello. You should add her to the one that has (14048) next to it. Do you know how to do this? If not, just go to her memorial, click the [Edit] next to "Burial". Next click continue, put Rose Hills, California in the search parameters. Several Rose Hills will pop up. Choose the one that is in Whittier and it has (14048) next to the name. This was the original listing and has the address, and photos of the cemetery, the entrance sign, etc. There are a number of other duplicate memorials in the duplicate cemetery (29 I believe) that will eventually get merged. My main concern for you was that your photo request get fulfilled. The way you had it listed, it might not have gotten done. I hope this helps. If you have any trouble at all, please let me know. We are here to help each other!
Best Regards,
