I tried to turn the photograph and am not having any luck. It is upright on my computer but won't stay upright on this site... I wish I knew why. I will be happy to take another photo of the headstone. The location is very near my home. I might just need to hold my camera (phone) sideways... I tried posting other photographs from that cemetery and they were sideways too. Sorry for the trouble; this is my first time contributing to FindAGrave.com. Thanks, Mark. I found out last week that Sarah's headstone will be replaced by the Cemetery Restoration Project. When that happens, she will at last have a headstone. I'll let you know if I hear more. Regards, Tracy | | | EGF

I have a relative buried in Arvada Cemetery, and was browsing through the memorials looking for other family members. I happened to notice that you have attached scanned images of newspaper obituaries and death notices (with source citations) to a great many of the Arvada memorials.
These obituaries are terrific, not only as a memorial to the deceased, but also as a resource for living family members seeking clues for further research. I am sure you have invested a great deal of time and effort in locating and sharing those images. I want to say "thank you" for your splendid contribution to the memorials specifically, and to Find A Grave in general.
Keep up the excellent, important work you are doing. You are a credit to this site.

Hi, Mark,
Please be advised that Sarah L. Ballinger and Lucinda Ballinger are one and the same person. "Lucinda" was a favorite middle name of the Ballingers. There is at least one in each generation.
