Lee John Rogers
The Smith Family graveyard Milltown
Hello Ms. Fair, I am Lee John Rogers great-great-great-great-grandson of Simon Butler. I have recently been in contact with Johnnie Ray Wilson concerning the graveyard in Milltown and am anxious to talk to you as I see you have done a lot of research on my family.

Thanks

Cecil Hardin Jr
Kentucky son
Hi Marilyn, My name is Cecil Hardin, I live in Shelbyville, Ky. I am the
great grandson Andrew and Bessie Pearl [Wilson] Poff and again Otis and Eva
Mae [Franklin] Rodgers.Otis is a brother to
Jessee Rodgers, whom I found listed on a family sheet you have posted.

Bessie Pearl is the daughter of Silas Walker Wilson and Annie Bell Brockman
I have not found and good info on Annie, but I found some indications that
Silas's family is John Walker Wilson and
Susan Louvenia Smith, who is a sister to Mollie Smith the mother of Andrew
Poff. I was hoping you might have some insight on this. Also, I was curious
if you had any info going past Simon Butler or
Micajah Frazier [Frazor] from the Choctaw Reservation. Any thing you could
or are willing to share would be most appreciated.

My maternal grand father Clifton Rodgers, son of Otis, and g.m. Margie
[Poff] a daughter of Andrew and Bessie Pearl are interred at Milltown,
along with Bessie Pearls parents Silas Wilson and Annie Brockman, and both
came from that area. My g.f. has one living sister , Louvenia [Rodgers]
Bryant lives still, a short distance from the Cemetary and church there on
Milltown Rd. I spoke with her and she gave me the names of her grand
parents Edward Rodgers and Elnora [Beard] Rodgers and Clarence Fanklin
and Hattie [Parsons]. I realize these names may have no significance to
you, however, I was just trying to fill in some blanks. Louvenia , also
told me that she knew a g. grandson of Jessee Rodgers was doing a family
history as well. This has been over a month and I have received no word
from this man and I was not given a means of contacting him. My foolish
mistake was not taking this up long before most of my family is gone. I
have followed my Hardin lineage as far back as 1560's with alot of help
from some others, but I have really run into a wall with my mothers side.

Thank you for taking time to read this note and again I would be most
greatful for any information you can share with me.

Harold Haste,
Thank you so much for the message about Harold. I thought I had listed him in the Smith Cemetery in Pulaski County where his son is buried but I some how listed him in Adair County. Thank you for your time and trouble to tell me about this.

Elisha Benjamin Lane memorial
Dear Mary,

Your memorial for Elisha has him buried at Eastern State Hospital cemetery near Anchorage. I think you meant Central State Hospital which is near Anchorage and once called Lakeland.

There is an Eastern State Hospital but it is in Lexington. You may want to delete the memorial from "Eastern" and add it to the Central State Hospital cemetery.

Here is a Findagrave link to one of the Central State hospital cemeteries:

Thanks for all your contributions,

Deborah
