Hello Helen,

Thank you for contacting me.

Which cemetery is his last resting place? Rocky View Garden of Peace or Queen's Park? (There are records indicating he was interred at Rocky View Garden of Peace.)

Were his remains disinterred and reinterred at Queen's Park, or are there perhaps two markers, one at each cemetery? I won't delete my memorial until I hear from you but in the interim have created a hyperlink.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I apologize for that! My fingers jumped the gun.

I tried to fulfill your photo request. I found a plot map to Hope Cemetery today...nothing is filled in, but I cross- referenced it with other records just in case. It is definitely an unmarked grave now. If there was a stone, it is long gone.

There is, however, a lilac and ash tree growing in the spot. Since Ruth would have been one of the first burials there, it might be that in lieu of a stone, someone planted the ash or the lilac. Or the ash and lilac absorbed it long ago. (Lilacs are notorious for that.)

I can take a picture of the spot in the spring, when they are in full foliage, if you like. It's quite homely now.

I might also have some information on Ruth, from the Dunham History. I remember her being mentioned. If you like, I can send it on to you.

Hello Helen,

Remeber me? I'm the one who sent you a package of info on the Fritts last year. I was looking at Alice Oldham Fritts' memorial and was going to link her family on there. I noticed that there are two memorials for her father, yours Austin Oldam #62503169 and another Austin W. Oldam #75367577 created by user:Johanna and Harry. They both have the same picture and Bio info. Do you know if the other user is related and if not maybe you could ask them to delete their's. I don't know exactly what the procedure is for this but I know you ARE related to Austin and yours was created first.

RE: Gertrude Willard
I assuming the cemetery is east & west with entry gate on the west and back of cemetery on the east , I don't really know for sure but my directions will reflect that way the Fritts graves are in the Sunset gardens sec. on the east side of the sec. near the road there is a very large tree about 6 or 10 rows north of there graves I am told this is the older sec. by the office , the Willard graves are in the Garden of Faith Sec. at the back of the cemetery in the center are 3 pillars standing up the Willard's are 2 or 3 rows in front of those pillars to the north . each sec. of cemetery has a name . I have a picture of My wife standing by Her great G Grandmothers grave from behind that tree. where we were parked. the flowers were ours there were no flowers on any of the grave's although it was day after memorial day . we were suprised becouse there are Fritt's in Dixon ,If You are interested I can send You the 2011 Fritts family Reunion address list.

Helen,
I am sorry that it wasn't very readable. It is quite weathered. And you are very welcome.
