Lewis and Ethel Mason
Yes, you have my permission to use the photos of Lewis and Ethel Mason at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Please use this line:

2013 by LKat on Find A Grave. Used with permission.

Thank you very much for being considerate in asking if you could use the photos.

I added new photos today that I think are better than the others, my photography skills have improved through the years as has my camera. I have been trying to delete some older photos with better ones. The Mason's were on my list.

Thank you for responding. Unfortunately our Alphonse LaFave are not the same ones. Mine was born a lot earlier and his middle name was Alfred. Do appreciate you taking the time to respond.
Best Regards,
Duff Zube

Hi Bernadette,
I noticed you have some LaFave's in your family tree. Interested in a branch of the LaFave's, my ancestor Elizabeth Bourdon married a John LaFave. His family was from the Onaway area, He is buried in Standish, but his wife and several of his children were living in Grayling and Onaway at the time of their deaths. Do you know the parents of your Alphonse by any chance?
Best Regards,
Duff Zube

RE: LaFave
You are very welcome; I know what you mean about the lump in the throat. My grampa died in 1984, and I still miss him. There were 8 kids in my family, so Mom and Dad didn't have a lot of time for individual attention; I was Grampa's favorite so many of my sweetest childhood memories are of sitting on his lap while he sang to me.

Time going by sucks, doesn't it?

Weather is not cooperating this winter. Too cold, too windy to be wondering through cemeteries. So sorry. It will have to wait till Spring.
