Jim, are you still active in Find-a-Grave? If you are not, could you transfer Daniel and his wife Urania to me?

Jim, Can you give me any further information on Urania? Where did you find your family history information for her? Her father was ( I believe) Daniel Alcott, a revolutionary war veteran. I am descended from one of his other children. I can not find Daniel! He is the only generation I'm coming up blank on. I have his father, grandfather and great-grandfather along with every generation after Daniel. ARGH. Thank you for any help you can give me. ~Ann (firstname.lastname@example.org)

Ah, thanks again, Jim. It all makes sense now. I edited Virginia's page again. Everything should be done relative to what we've discussed today. Thanks again for your help. Feel free to reach me with anything else. -Meghan

Familysearch was my source, yes. Did you note that her parents had two daughters named VJD, unless there was a major transcription error. The first was born in 1858, the second in 1860. In this case we can assume that the VJD1 died before VJD2 was born. Let me know if you have reason to disagree. Also, I removed Northampton Co. as her place of birth as I noticed that the records actually reflect she was born in Northampton, Nansemond Co. and I'm not sure where exactly that would be today - probably Suffolk, but I'm not sure. Northampton Co., however is on the Eastern Shore.

Thanks, Jim! Unfortunately whoever made the original upload of the cemetery data made an error and all of the death dates were incorrect. I'm slowly but surely doing my best to correct them all. Thanks so much for your input. First, may I suggest that you add your photo of Richard & Thomas' tomb to Thomas' page? That would be very helpful. Additionally, would you mind double checking the corrections I have made and letting me know if you spot any errors? I really want to ensure accuracy of data and relationships. Thanks again for your interest and input. It's very much appreciated.
Have a nice weekend, Meghan
