Everyone deserves to be remembered.
My goal is to photograph all the cemeteries in Floyd County Iowa. When I photograph the grave of someone I've known during my lifetime I take a moment to remember them. Some I haven't thought about in years and it's like "Wow, I remember you" and all the special things about that person pop into my head.
I want to give a shout out to my son for going with me to the cemeteries and helping to take photos. It's very much appreciated.
Cemeteries I'm currently photographing:

If you find that I am managing a memorial for a close family member and you want to manage it, just let me know and I will happy to transfer it to you.
Please feel free to use the photo that I have added to a family member's memorial for your personal use. Please do NOT add my photos to other fag memorials without giving proper credit to me.
If anyone would care to make a small donation to the St. Charles/Riverside Cemetery for their gravestone cleaning and restoration project it would be most appreciated as it is a non-profit cemetery.
Donations can be sent to the Riverside Cemetery Association at 59 Riverside Drive, Charles City, Iowa 50616. Please indicate that it is for the gravestone and restoration project.

I did send it and tried to remove it and it wouldn't work on the website.

We respectfully request permission to use Phyllis' cemetery marker photo in our online tree with credit. Phyllis is a cousin to Marie and the photo will make a great addition.
Thanks for your consideration.

There is a mention of a Washburn family bible on her find a grave page. Do you know where is bible is located or how I may get get a copy of this information. I am trying to join the DAR, and and the only information I need to prove is that Deborah Washburn is the daughter of Bezaeel Washburn.

Thank you very much for the transfer! I appreciate your kindness.
You manage 2 memorials - one for Rudolph W. Schultz, and one for Rudolph Shultz. The first one is the correct one. Thanks.

Thank you for this! I'd never seen my grandpa's grave, much less met him, until now. Walter S McBride, buried in Sunnyside cemetery.

Died June 4 not June 15
I have the obit.
She was my great grandmother on my dad's side.
|Garth Woodward||Isa L. Walster|
As soon as you told me the name Isa L. Walster I recognized where she fits in. She is the youngest child of Samuel and Elizabeth. I'll send an Edit to connect her to her parents. Thank you.
|Garth Woodward||Walston and Cropper|
Thank you for all your great work documenting the gravestones in your area. For the grave of Mary Jane (Walster) Cropper 1852-1906, 133727438, it appears that her husband is probably buried beside her and he probably has a gravestone, however there doesn't seem to be a memorial for him. There is an area photo that appears to show four gravestones in the same style all together. Two of them are Mary's parents, and the third is Mary. Is the fourth one Mary's husband or perhaps a brother ? These Walstons are distant relatives of a good friend of mine.
