Hi, I found a marker for a "Sergt. W.S. Meiggs" at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Whitman Ma. It is a marker with a "78 G.A.R." Plaque on it. My pleasure. I live within walking distance of the cemetery and both areas have some limited numerical points of reference that were helpful in narrowing the field. Joyce is buried about fifty feet from my parents.

Thank you for replying. Since its wintertime, and not really easy to walk through the cemeteries, our next visit will be in the spring. If you come up with any ideas of where you may have found the headstone, I'd be grateful in your findings!

Good Morning,
I was wondering if you could tell me where in Colbrook Cemetery, that Marcena is buried? He is the Great Great Grandfather of my Father In Law and we've been trying to locate this grave for 3 yrs. We have searched that cemetery numerous times and have come up empty handed each time. Any help would be appreciated!

I was thumbing through some old newspaper clippings and found an obituary for Rev. Glennon. It ran in the Middlesex News, April 12, 1985. If you're interested, I will scan and send so you can attach to his memorial.
