Hi Penny,
I ran across your memorial for George Crosslin and noticed he was your grandfather. My great-grandmother's first husband was George's half-brother, John Henry Crosslin (son of Richard Crosslin and Sarah Mattingly). They were only married for four years before John died. Then my great-grandmother remarried to William England and your grandfather officiated the ceremony in Gans.
Do you happen to know anything about John? In particular, why he died so young (only 29 years old)?
