I was born & (mostly) raised at Oak Harbor, Island Co., Washington, daughter of Robert Mayo & Phyllis Nathalie (Renke) Savage. Chris Marshall & I were married in 1982 on Lummi Island, Washington. We now reside in Amherst, NH. Genealogy and history have been an important part of my life for many years. |
I have entered memorials for three cemeteries in Amherst, NH and have started on the fourth. I welcome any descendants who would like me to transfer management of their ancestor to their care.

I sent you a reply back to your email addy just days after your last message. I wondered if you got it? Perhaps it's in your spam; or you've just been very busy. No worries. Let me know if you don't have it and I can resend. I was looking for an article regarding his death via locomotive, according to his death certificate & wondered if you might have better access with the "family tree"..
|Donna Miller-Graves||Thank You!|
Thank You for posting my great-great grandfather's headstone! I just started my research on ancestry.com and this is a great service you do as I would not have known otherwise.
I plan to visit and see if there are other Hanson's I might be related to as well.
Mrs. Donna L Miller-Graves
|Twigs and Branches||Thank you|
I know it wasn't intentional :) We all get to posting and don't see it or for some reason it just doesn't come up when we search. Lord knows I have done it... But...You have to be one of the nicest people I've ever come across on this website! I too live in NH, not far from you. I was working on a friends genealogy when I placed that memorial. She too lives local. Maybe one day our paths will cross. Thank you, Lee Ann
|Jonathan Twiss||Daniel Prior (1760-1808)|
Are you aware that there is a pastel portrait of Capt. Daniel Prior dated 1797 now owned by the New Hampshire Historical Society in Concord? As I understand, it was done in Boston when he was there on business. The artist was Johann Hirschmann (1770-1829) of Germany who came to America around 1795 and remained here until about 1803 when he returned to Germany...so he wasn't here very long. You can view this portrait by typing his name in the URL or searching the website of the NH Historical Society collections.
Let me know how you fared. Jonathan Twiss
Thank you Jackie!

Jackie, I forgot to ask, may I copy your photos of Naamah and Isaiah Bacon for my ancestry tree, giving you credit?
