Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a genealogy nut! I discovered family history when I was 14 and have not been the same since. Love to share but expect the same. As our family expanded, so did my research. I was born and grew up in Port Lavaca on the middle of the Texas coast.

Some of my lines I am researching: McCown, Turner, Skates, Hunt, Byrd, Clark, Simpson, Williams, Vaughn, Beasley, Baird, Beckman, Schulz.

Some of my wife's lines: Hoyle, Roberts, Blankenship, Tharp, Bear/Bare/Bair. On her Mom's side they are all Swedish, so the name changed every generation.

Lines of my son-in-law's Dad's side: Betts, Boyd, Dixson/Dixon, Huckabee, Gibson, and Meek. His Mom's side: Brannan, Pacetti, Masters, Andreu, Fouche, Rogero, Llina, Triay. Most her lines are from Menorca, and moved to Florida in 1768.

Find A Grave is a great site. I feel it is our duty to edit and keep a memorial up to date as long as we are living. It will be an even greater service for future generations.

I do know the guidelines of Find a Grave, but will transfer regardless of guidelines, unless it is my family, or someone I especially care about. I also have no hangups about linking to memorials that have no definite burial place. Many times I know the county and even the part of the county an ancestor lived, so that's better than just having USA.

I do have a website, but no information is posted on living family, although I do collect information on down to date when I can get it.

Hi
You sent me 3 edits on Edna Sooter. I have not
been able to find much info on her.

Are you interested in managing this memorial

Meharg / Skates family
There is a request for Seally Meharg and William Meharg at College Mound Cemetery. Please take a look at the problem we recorded. I am wondering if they were actually buried in another cemetery along with many of the family members listed in the BIO.

We did find Bud M Meharg and Hattie B Meharg.

John Koenig 1907 Pt. Lavaca, Texas
H1! I saw Robert about six months ago. He told me all the family was doing great. Thanks for the transfer. My husband and I do not live in Victoria anymore, so I do not get to see all the Koenig Family.

John Koenig 1907 Pt. Lavaca, Texas
This is not Emma Neisser's husband. It is her son.
Would you please correct and add her husband:

Johan Victor "John" Koenig
Born: 25 August 1879 Dubina, Fayette, Texas, USA
Died; 14 December 1937 Port Lavaca, Calhoun, Texas, USA

This is my aunt and uncle.
Thank You
Eleanor Neisser Jacobs

RE: Rosemary Mickler
Yes, I photographed all of the headstones that were available in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fayetteville in 2012 and a few others that were installed after that. The photograph of her marker can be found on her memorial.
