I'd always been curious about who my ancestors were, where they lived & where they came from originally. I never personally knew any of my paternal family, but through genealogy research & Find-a-grave I've been able to acquaint myself with many of them, their extended families as well as numerous members of my maternal lines. |
Dunlap, Ellis, Emerson, Goggin, Hanchett, Hanlen, Husband(s), Landenberger, McAlduff, Messenger, McNees, McWethy, Pullen, Schroth, Slater, Streator, Tisdale, Walsh, Woods.

You're surely welcomed...it's always my honor to visit veterans, especially those who passed much too young...thank you for the privilege of visiting Staff Sergeant Demaline on your behalf!

I'm researching Francis Dunlap's family (my great grandmother was his sister-in-law). I'd like to get information on Lou and her family. I do have info on Bessie Lyda Dunlap's family, including some pictures not posted. email@example.com

You are very welcome and I'm glad to have been able to help. Rice Creek is one of the cemeteries I have adopted and I took photos of all the markers that did not already have photos on FindAGrave and am still in the process of posting those, so you may find even more of your relatives. Also, I have access to the Marshall Newspapers so if I can look up an obituary for any of your relatives, just let me know.
Thank-you very much for the information and the beautiful tribute to him that you left.
Elsie was my cousin and Im very interested in the family. She had a son named Richard who Mr. Lindley adopted. I know Richard and his wife Fern have died but was wondering if you had any info on their family? Also if you have Mr. Lindley's obituary I would love to post it! Thank-you

So far there is no one else in the lot but I have a couple of more years to do. Is there anyone else that you are looking for there?

The grandson in the picture is my older brother, his great-grandson James A. McNees.

Thank you for posting this rare photo of my father, which I don't recall ever seeing before. I can think of nothing more fitting for a Memorial Day tribute. - Keith McNees
