Peter Shanholtzer Sr and Jr
You have quoted material from "Shanholtzer History and Allied Family Roots of Hampshire County, W.Va. and Frederick County, Va.", by Wilmer L. Kerns, Ph.D.

You should be giving your source of material since this is published and sold by him or Internet sources.

RE: Peter Shanholtzer Sr.
Thank you for the reply...my ancestry information shows that My mother is Sandra L Imbody, her father is Charles N Imbody 2nd, his father is Charles N Ombody 1st, his father is Daniel Imbody, and said Daniel Imbody married Elenor Shanholtzer, the daughter of Philip Shanholtzer and Susan CAtherine Shanholtzer, and that Philip was the son of Jacob Shanholtzer (1781-1872) and that Jacob was the son of Peter Shanholtzer whom was in the American Revolutionary War. My question to you would be is this information or part of it jive with what you have about Peter, Jacob, and Philip? I have not been able to confirm the birth, death, or marriage information previously provided on ancestry.com.

Peter Shanholtzer Sr.
Peter is my 5th Great Grandfather on my mothes side. I have same ancestor information recorded in this memorial. One record states that in 1789 Peter Sr moved to HAmpshire county, Virignia and settled along the Cacapone River near Sandy Ridge. Death is only known as Hampshire District now known as West Virginia

William C. Shaw-Bluemont Cemetery
A very nice Bio for William C. Shaw. I have added pictures of his tombstone as well as the two smaller stones for Russell and Charles. Job well done!
