Gail, my wife and I came thru Waurika today, returning from Texas. I worked for PSO until I retired in 2010. Thought of your daughter as we drove past town. We are fairly new to Find A Grave, so I just wanted to see what Heather's marker was like. It's very nice. May God Bless you!

Dear Mrs. Fulton, I happened to be awake at 2 am this morning and saw the story about your beautiful daughter. I admire you so much for the way you were able to forgive the boys who took her from you. I am not from Oklahoma originally, but am grateful to call it home now. I pray for you and your family, and hope that 2014 will be blessed for you.

I have always believed courage and the love in a person's heart is never define by age or gender. Heather and yourself are prime examples of this. What a spectacular young woman she is. And one can definitely say you set a great example. One day at a time. That is the way we all get thru. Doing the best we can, facing what we can, one day at a time friend.

Mrs. Fulton,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Losing a child is always difficult, but what happened to Heather is unfathomable to me. She was a beautiful young lady.

I truly admire your ability to forgive. That would be virtually impossible for most. It was extremely heartbreaking to me, learning of it via television.

I created a memorial web page for Heather several years ago, but was unable to find a way to let you know.

It is at:

Mrs. Fulton, I watched the AMERICAN JUSTICE episode about your daughter this evening, and was inspired to leave a note at her memorial. Thanks for showing the world how much you love and miss your daughter. As I said in the note, I will pray for Heather's soul, and for you and your family as well. Mikal.

deep admiration
Mrs. Fulton,

I recently watched the A&E program again about your daughter. Being raised in a small Oklahoma town myself, I remember the case being on the news and in the papers and it really hit close to home...for myself and my husband...he was raised in a small town close to Lawton. I cannot begin to express how saddened I am by the loss of your daughter. I am a mother of 6 beautiful children...5 sons...1 daughter. She is 13 and like her brothers, the light of my life. She watched the program with me and I was a little surprised and so very proud when she turned to me and said,"Mom, Heather didn't deserve to die...I think kids could learn alot from her story, I think Heather would want all kids to be more careful, I know I will." I truly admire your strength and determination to find justice for Heather. It was inspirational to me and I am sure countless others out there. May the Lord bless you and your family. I know in my heart that Heather is smiling down on us all.

With Much Love and Respect,
