Jacob LaGrange & Jennie Murtagh
This is my great grandfather's eldest brother. My great grandfather was Isaac married Marcella Hackett buried at Albany Rural with other brother Abram and family. Do you remember where in the cemetery this is located? Their father was John J LaGrange(1814-1881) buried at Prospect Hill, however, I can not locate his exact gravesite and his wife was Susan who died in 1857(1818-1857), but I can not locate her. Her father was Isaac(Coenradt)mother Gertrude Veeder(Col Abraham).I know that Col Abraham is buried there.
I was at the cemetery a week ago Sunday, found their great grandfather John C LaGrange(1751-1838) and Anna Marie Mordecai(1759-1841) his wife. Three of their children are buried there, Abraham I married Catherine Arnold; Margaret married John M Blessing; Hannah married Francis Van Valkenburg.
I've spoken to Harold Jacobson, caretaker and been emailing over several years. With no markers, lots, section visible, it is at random, that I find a gravesite. I also know that John J LaGrange's father Jacob (1798-1876) is buried there with wife Catherine Leonard(1796-1887). Possibly you have more photos of the gravesite/stone which have already been posted?Any added help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Maureen-- Thank you ever so much for taking the photograph of the gravestone of my great-grandfather, Otto Rust. I live in Texas and don't get to Amsterdam much at all these days. Your photo helps tremendously in my family research. Thank you!! Bob Kruger

Did you happen to see any other Kinkel on this headstone? Was there any children nearby? Thanks
